(EDIT: upurs.us and GTM image uploader not working. for now i have a small picture (thumbnail))  not insane, original, or even that good. just wanted to build a LW for once. J for Jitterbug (it likes to dance sometimes) DSA, weapons wedged so it picks up bots and hits the bottom. it had beaten the V4 tempus fugit.

put an extender on top of the extedner pointing up. you should be able to put a few more spikes on that way. this one is cleaner than the last one.

u are getting way too complicated. and u are right about the rule of 7. it means there can only be 7 connection points connecting in a row. lemme explain again.
i take the ddt. i put one extender on it. i effe another extdner on it, moving the second one out of the way. then i go back to the original extender that comes off the ddt, and effe a third extender on it. so now i have three. on the second extender, i place another (number four) extender on it. watch.
DDT + extender one + extender two + extender four + razor = 5 connection points in a row. not even close to the 7 limit.
i will have to show a picture with its guts ripped out i guess. that is unless someone can figure it out. thanks naryar for showing interst. i love the sage joke.

 i remade my first bot as well as i could remember. this was the v3. the first one didnt have the back ddt (the one with the battleaxe) and didnt have Co2 tanks. i came up with the back ddt for srimech against EMERGENCY.

lemme explain the part about razors. the way you think about it, i attach one extender to each extender before it, making 8, breaking the rule of 7. but you fail to notice that i can actually attach 2 extenders to the one coming off the ddt, and attach an extender off one of those 2. i did not break the rule of seven. and about the drive, ill give u a clue. i only used 2 snappers total.

meh. mind as well make a new one. starting out with letter "I" of my alphabet.  I for Insidious, here meaning "operating or proceeding in an inconspicuous or seemingly harmless way but actually with grave effect." DSA, 791.9, 4 razors on each ddt, 4 batts (courtesy of infiniteinertia, master of stacking) 4 hpz drive. good luck figuring out how i put the drive on. P.S. about the battleshot, i had the red blinking light, and the other bot had full health. to say the least, i was not doing too good. but then, i got a one hit kill, and won the battle.

wrong. in my beginning days of RA2, EMERGENCY killed me. not immobilize, kill. its ram plates did it. if memory serves me well, i had steel armor on that bot. if u need pure defense, ramplates are better. plows have their place with bots that need stability or wider protection, like yours. and i have the mindset that rams actually do have more health, because if they do damage back to other weapons, those weapons will have their own attack bounced slightly back at them, making the rams last longer.

i could probably build it almost exctly the same way again. it had steel armor, the huge box chassis made with the whole grid and default height, 4 redbird drive, fatboys, one DDT with one mace on an angler on it for a weapon. about 6 black batts.
