If you're looking to edit .gmf files, my best guess would be use Dummy's editor: http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/files/GMFCompiler_FB.zip Instructions: http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/modding.htm
and the gmf viewer: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?action=downloads;sa=downfile&id=103 just open a gmf with this, and it displays your model (hitbox in green).
imo these work well, and they DO work. I've used them myself. If you really want to use pyRA2, I'm not your man. These are just an alternative.
I want to export the models of the .gmf file, so I can open them up in 3d editors like 3ds max, but thanks for the help
I got PyRA2 to 'work' a few times, but it was pretty involved (as it was written for a pretty old version of Python), and IMVHO not worth the effort. You can probably re-create its' functionality in $YOUR_FAVOURITE_LANGUAGE using its' source as reference in an evening or two - the GMF binary format isn't that difficult to parse if you just want mesh data. You could even decompile to ASCII GMF and somehow parse that with some crappy scripting (even straight awk if you enjoy pain).
Was thinking about asking you about this thing. I did try to somewhat update it(since getting the old version to run on an old system's still a pain that doesn't work)but in the end I spent about 3 hours(with my limited python knowledge) going from one error to the next, rewriting stuff until I got stuck. While I could learn from the file format(GMF isn't that difficult, I'm surprised that there isn't an importer yet) it would be just too much time for me to spend into something like that. If you have an updated version or wanted to give it another go(so far there aren't any other tools that can import components into 3d model editors(would be really useful) and bot importing can have a few uses as well)) that would be a really useful thing, I can imagine spending weeks or even months without getting any good progress because I've never made something like this before and do not know other 3d model formats well at all. While it would be a new and interesting thing to learn I think that I'll just stop working on it at some point, that and there's plenty other things on the topic of game development that I wanted to do.

What series of life choices led to this?
That's the only question you have? 10 seconds into the video and I already have so many, nope not happening.

Hammers like that almost always have 2 wedges and 3+ plows instead of those ramplates. You should learn about stacking and other basic glitches if you're dead-set on getting better at stock, otherwise there's no real point to building in stock. Try stacking 2 blacks together and putting the 4 drive motors on 1 or 2 snappers using the eFFe glitch, and using your spare weight to shrink the chassis a crapton and maybe get another DDT.
Also, use shinies or rubbers (or very situationally slipperbottoms), not N-12 wheels.
I have to use N12's for the ground clearance, Slipperbottoms(which the concept bot had) wouldn't work and I also didn't see many glitches that would have use in this setup.

No replies? Guess that I showed too many bots or people don't really like those recreations, anyways something new that I didn't want to show at first: Needs more ramming plates, right? I actually wanted to put some more on there(especially on top and sides) but that would make it a SHW. The name has nothing to do with the other Smasher bot I posted earlier, got this concept over night, made a concept bot(which didn't work out too well), then built a better version and upgraded it a bit. Originally this bot started with just the name Z which was a placeholder(can't really get any good names for this thing). So what's this exactly? Yesterday I got this idea of how to battle those stock glitch spinners(I'm guessing most stock bots are either popups or spinners), the idea is simple, ram the spinner so it's blade won't spin up and then take the hammer(which had a burst 2 with extra razors and normal pickaxe spikes before) to damage them. Originally the idea was to have a small chassis and some kind of split wedge on the front, like this: ...._._.... ./.___.\. ..|......|.. ..-------.. However as you can see it turned out with a big block chassis because there's no other way for me to fit all those components in there. It also didn't perform as well, only being a medium quality bot in Starcore1, part of which is because of RA2's physics(random breaking off hammers), it does have someting against popups but can't self right and only run upside down if the hammer was fired before, so it's not that great, also because of the lack of ramming plates it doesn't have any good armor against hammers. Snowplows might be better, having more HP and size, however they can't be angled as well and are just very big. Having ram plates does give the advantage that the damage is shared between the different plates instead of only one getting it. I do hope that the AI can drive this thing better as it was especially made for it, I'm also very happy that we don't have to do repairs between tournament matches: (Ok this is the worst example after a battle that I technically lost, however the game would let me continue but would crash at the start of the next match)

Gaben is a fat greedy bastard and DRM is ruining games. Don't even get me started with always online bs.
1) Steam DRM isn't always online. 2) How is Gaben a greedy bastard? 3) How is steam DRM ruining games? It's far less invasive than alternative DRM methods like SecuROM
You need to login at least once in a month(and hope that steam doesn't drop this value which it can sometimes do) I think he's talking about DRM in general here. I could post many reasons and discuss here but I don't really want to, so let me just mention some small things: I wasn't too bothered with steam but started to get more annoyed when they changed some stuff last year: You can no longer become a "premium" account if you only use gift codes, so you NEED to spend money. Looking at that, I wouldn't have been able to get a premium steam account(without premium you can basically do nothing community wise, no adding friends, joining group chats and more). What about people who earn their games by doing stuff for others or buy keys from a different site/humble packs? Another issue for me is that I used steam to talk to my friends, it was nice but if you got someone completely new they would have to spend their money just to unlock that feature. Link filter This thing is just so annoying, having to wait for it to load(and not even work half of the time) just because someone linked me a picture on imgur, oh and then it complains that a site which is clearly safe is unsafe, with no way to turn it off. Both of those were added to reduce scammers, while they do have a point I seriously have to ask, how retarded do people have to get to give everyone their password, the chat already shows that you should never give someone their password and are you just going to enter your username and password on some random site because a guy said "hey free steam games login"? Ever since they changed the design(which I really dislike but that's personal opinion) the steam community login has been unstable, go to the community tab and you'll be greeted with a login screen 75% of the time, they did improve it a bit so it's only 25% now, but tell me how you break something like that, and let's not forget what happened Xmas 2015 when you were able to access and view other accounts... Videos in the community tab can also cause freezes where the only way to fix the community page is to restart steam. Doesn't really count but what do all steam guys say to this? "oh it's your pc having issues with steam"(that's actually what a steam moderator/manager once said to me). Tell me how this system should be having problems with their minimum requirements: About having games for a cheap price, there are other places which have them for a way cheaper price, get a "pay what you want" humble bundle, support stuff and get DRM free stuff on top of that, hell yeah, I'm paying more for that. As for what Craaig said about it making stuff harder to pirate, that's true but just for those small hobby pirates, the big ones will still get it done, and what bothers me here the most is that the customer gets treated as pirate "oh you could be a potential pirate which are the worst people on the world, here deal with all those security measurements" remember when you were able to backup games on a USB drive, move them to other drives and just launch them? Nope not possible without having steam installed, running and connected. So, why should I deal with all this bs when places like GOG and Humble give me the ability to install the game anywhere I want with the ability to get older revisions/versions of a game and a completely free, optional client(which is still in beta and a bit unstable, but it does work)?

Pretty much everywhere these days. Better engagement and all that.
Didn't know that, thought your bot had two disc teeth as well, with Snappy 2 blocking the view.

This bikeshedding about Steam is one of the reasons we can't have nice things.
Just do a DRM free and Steam release(and optionally allow the Steam version to run without being connected), what would be the problem in that?

« on: May 02, 2016, 08:06:36 AM »
Looks real nice man. Hoping it does well for your project and in combat! What motor are you running the disc on/what reduction, out of curiosity?
the spinner reminds me a lot of Witch Doctor from Battlebots 2015.
...the skull? Probably one of the single tooth discs least like this one :P
Yep, meant disc when I said spinner, haven't really seen many single tooth discs(Never seen any of the events that were outside of the TV series), but I guess they get used now?

R01 has a good point. we're going to need connection, Steam BS and stuff to make ra3 work.
why are standalone games no longer a thing and everything must be released by steam now ? why can't we open games by .exes anymore ?
They're still a thing, at least for those devs that do release on GOG and Humble(and don't call that version inferior), and I guess it's because those big companies think that pirates are the biggest scum of the internet/DRM is actually protecting them from it. There's a bunch of pluses for a dev really. Prebuilt online marketplace with loads of exposure/existing users and DRM stuff I imagine are 2 of the biggies.
GOG and Humble do have a big online place as well with GOG even featuring their own, completely optional, client(still in beta but looks promising). It's just that steam's more known to all those "normal" people, but as soon as you ask other guys with more advanced knowledge they will know about DRM free games. As for DRM, if you think that it protects piracy, then I'll have to tell you that it doesn't do that much, not going to go into any details, but unless it has specialized valve stuff in it, it's very easy to bypass, and hey even if it isn't, all it's going to do is keep the small pirates away while big ones(not going to name any names here) will still get it done and be the main distribution source, so in the end it only helps the bigger ones getting more and more popular. I hope that this didn't sound offensive in any way, don't want to sound so negatively to this really nice community, especially not to staff members.

That poor thing, next time take some wood or metal box as testing object. Does look nice and the spinner reminds me a lot of Witch Doctor from Battlebots 2015.

Not really an update but more of a bump, here are some concept robots: Steelyard Slasher, only built to have a ground clearance like Lil' Dog and self righters similar to those that Panic Attack had, at first those were extenders so I put Razors on the end, however swords seemed to work better, really suffers a lot because of the 180 degree angle limit and isn't too effective. Since RA3's going to be released in this month I made this little remake of the first trailer bot, of course the shape couldn't be done that well, wheels stick out(I could make the chassis a bit bigger sideways but then it would look out of shape), compared to this, RA3 seems to finally feature smaller components giving us more space on what to do(but not as small as ironforge). Some failed creations, both fail because of the same thing, sevo pistions not having any power at all to lift the bot up. Could've been an interesting concept. I'm currently working on some new bots and my mod, for the meantime, why not check out the thread since not many people have commented/seen the other creations: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=18882.msg699403#msg699403

You should just go full yolo and release it anyway. BFE made it so RA2 "was never the same afterwards" but BFE is also banned from most tournies. I'm sure we'll be able to assess if this would be allowed or not.
If you're gonna go ham on patching things, you should get rid of the maxsphere. It should be pretty much the same method of patching it out as making components intersect, shouldn't it?
I think similar as well, mostly because this would allow many possibilities and since it's just a patch people can still go back to vanilla RA2 and/or block certain of those mods in tournaments, best example would be stock(even if it's common to use glitches there) you still see normal bots in Ra's community and mods like DSL and Ironforge which don't use those. Also would it be possible to set the component limit to a new number(so instead of 7 it's 20)?
674
« on: May 01, 2016, 03:16:24 PM »
So yes, I was able to also patch being able attach anything to anything... I could also patch being able to intersect components.
Now I'm really not sure whether I should release this. I'm afraid RA2 will never be the same afterwards.
(Image removed from quote.)
Elders of the community, what to do?
Nice, both of those things can be set in the components file, right?(for my mod I'll definitely allow weapon to chassis clipping and I'd love to allow attaching everything to everything) I think this could be RA 2.5(funny enough my mod was aiming to be that).

Probably a false positive since I was able to run it just fine after disabling my AV, downloading it and then re-enabling the AV, but I thought I'd just let you know.
It's a Smart Feature (tm) by Avast that triggers when you download from a little known site (ie., mine). According to their forums:
Hi, DomainRep is a new feature of Avast, so let me explain a bit. It blocks EXE files downloads if these conditions are *all* met: 1. The file is not prevalent enough, ie. not enough Avast users launched the file yet, 2. The domain is not prevalent enough, ie. not enough Avast users downloaded (any) EXE files from the domain yet, 3. The file is not signed or Avast does not trust the signature. Sorry about that. If someone from GTM packs this into a .zip and uploads it to the site downloads, I'll update links to point there instead.
I do hope that this feature can be disabled in avast, gotta hate that such unneeded features get added just because there are "brain dead" people out there that DL everything and then complain that windows is full of viruses that appear out of nowhere.

Probably a false positive since I was able to run it just fine after disabling by AV and downloading it, but I thought I'd just let you know.
It should be interesting to see if tourney hosts allow people to bypass rule of 7 on thier entries or not.
Probably because the .exe has been modified in an odd way, quite a lot of hacking tools(and with hacking I mean game editing ones) seem to trigger antiviruses. Also the thing about tournaments is exactly what I thought.

Amazing, you talk about this about an hour ago and now you already have done it, truly a legend, also thanks for doing the patch version/explaining how we do this as this allows us to use this together with other mods/on future "releases". Would've said "time to break some rules" and increase your reputation if I could, but looks like someone has already done that.

will try to hex edit some stuff in RA2 later on(like the weight limits)
That's actually pretty easy, as the game will shout at you when you try to exceed a weight limit, and you can trace back from there. Heck, you can get the actual patch offsets from my unlimited mass mod if you so wish.
I'm looking into removing the 7-component limit (again!) I feel like I'm really close, sub_45e9d0 looks the entry point that decides whether a component will render as placed or not (and do some other stuff in between). This is now so much easier with a working debugger, I was way overambitious with trying to do this statically. Seriously, this is like a few hour job for someone on Windows with OllyDbg. Hopefully I'll get this done before RA3 gets released
I was thinking about just searching where the values "800" "400" and so on appear, because I imagine the limits being defined somewhere close to eachother. Nice, I also think that RA2 won't die down after 3's release, while I dont' hope so, 3 might just not be the game that we were hoping for(much like with those reboots of retro games where people still stick around with the original).

Updated the main post to share some of my thoughts, thanks for all the replies and it's nice to see that people still remember and like some stock bots. We all know that armor was nerfed close to launch of RA2, but it makes me wonder if certain components(especially burst motors) were nerfed as well. I took the time to write a short thought of every Stock Robot, I know that not everyone's interested in reading a big wall of text like that, so best to only check out the teams/bots that you really want to. Keep in mind, when I say "good" I mean for Stock level and with the original intentions of HP Zteks taking more power. The Rookies Starter Tutorial Team for RA2, does have some rather bad bots however some can help you with learning the basics: (L) Sting Ray Even if it's just a rammer it's somewhat decent, only big flaw is not enough batteries, so you will be barely moving at the end.
(M) Forkie Despite what the wiki says I've been able to flip bots(for example Alarm) with it, however servo lifters sadly don't work well in RA(did they work in beta?), while it has a lot components put into it(good example on how to use space) you should never take turns too sharp, as not only does the ground clearance cause problems with getting flipped, it makes it very easy for the both to fall over and be immobilized. Since a simple T connector is the only thing holding the flippers it's very easy for it to get broken off, in the end it's a nice bot concept on paper that just doesn't work out.
(M) C.R.U.S.H Probably the best Rookie robot, shows you well on how to build a basic robot, only suffers from low battery power so you won't be swinging that hammer at the end of the match.
(M) BOT-CHOY I have a feeling that this was supposed to be a clamp/crusher, however in the end it's just a simple rammer that doesn't seem to work out well.
(M) Atom Smasher Interesting concept for potential good damage, however it has high ground clearance, doesn't work both ways up(seriously, just put the drive motors a big higher and you don't have the clearance/upside down driving problem) and has too weak motors for it's weapons(again probably because Snapper 2's used to be stronger)
(H) Walrus Ok idea on paper but a rather boring bot that's only heavyweight because of the extra weights put on it. Not a good example on how to build a bot and it feels like the devs just needed a HW for the Rookies.
Since most import bots are the same from the stock versions I'll be covering the other ones here:
(L) Scrap Harper Not actually in the game and just on a box screenshot, looks halfway decent since it can drive upside down, however the long spikes make them an easy target.
(M) Spin Bonker Not too bad, however it has way too many parts that can break off giving you an easy 20 minute fixing time on it, worst part about this is that the other components attached to said component won't be back until two matches, then again this is an issue most spinners have to face, but the extra parts on this don't help it. Another big issue is that there's nothing which shows the direction of the bot, making it hard to control at times, so you have to "guess" what's forward.
(H) BarberShop Chop Looks like a decent HW but sufffers from a lot of issues: High Ground Clearance and sticking out wheels, blades swing into the opposite direction, seems to do close to no damage for some odd reason.
(M) Tailwhip Pretty much Arc Pounder except that it seems to fall easier apart and with a ramming plate.
Red Zone A Security themed team and the one that the player will most likely see first, not too dangerous. (L) Scout The flipper seems to be rather weak most of the time, however it did surprisingly well also one of the bots with low almost to zero ground clearance. Overall OK, but the bad AI makes it lose almost every match...
(M) ALARM Higher ground clearance than Scout, it's not a bad poker, can deal decent damage if it gets you into a corner and thanks to it's strong piston it still counts as moving until it starts running low on Co2.
(H) Sentinel A bot that suffers from control issues thanks to the powered streeing unit, looks like it's supposed to be a lifter while it's actually a flipper, like Scout it's not too strong but it can still flip, no self righting, exposed wheels and bad driving it's one of the easiest HW's.
Red Zone isn't that strong of a team.
Prehistoric Ancient Stone Age based team (L) Roly Poly Lightweight rammer that's suprisingly big and seems to commmonly roll over back on it's wheels, however it's not that threatening,ok bot.
(M) Saber Tooth While having a rather boring pantjob it does have an interesting(but somewhat ineffective) way of attacking.
(H) Grog the Warrior One of the what, 3 hammer clone bots? This one has the biggest axe which deals some damage and should be avoided, it can self right if it's axe isn't fired but not if the axe's already out, somewhat dangerous.
A somewhat decent team that does have little threats especially in their heavyweight and middleweight bots.
Good Ol' Boys (L) Catfish The possibly most boring and second ineffective LW bot.
(M) Mud Runner Interesting use of Motors creating that Monster Truck design while having the team logo on it, double axes are also rather dangerous, however the exposed motors at a high ground clearance make it an easy target, I remember playing on the Compressor Arena with Alarm and Mud Runner on one side, when I came over to see what's going on I saw a mess of motors and wheels with a wheel less mudrunner trying to stay mobile. It's axes do allow it to self right if it has enough power. Technically a HW.
(H) BEAR It's weapons make it a rather strong opponent, and even if it has the powered steering unit on it's back it's still driving surprisingly well(minus the few times where it falls backwards and gets immobilized)
This team does have somewhat dangerous robots in Middle and Heavyweight, however both can still be beaten.
Team Dragon Ninja Team (L) Ninja Sometimes it's saws just get stopped where other times they're able to chew away the armor, exposed weapon motors that don't seem to get damaged that much, sadly it can't drive upside down but I'd say it's still somewhat decent.
(M) Bushido Strong Blade that can quickly get rid of discs or armor, HS beware of this bot. According to the wiki it's actually a HW. can't self right due to the odd blade position but is otherwise rather strong.
(H) Ronin If you saw the other two you'd expect somethign damaging here, however ronin is just a normal wedge but with decent pushing power, the ability to run upside down and rather useless spikes on it's sides. The fact that it can't be immobilized that easy does give it a few extra points that it lost for it's weapons.
A ok team, MW is strong but the others aren't that big of a threat.
Black Storm A team with a lot of mixed robots. (L) Bot 204 Not that bad and can do constant damage, sadly it needs the caster for the sticking out sawblade which gives it a rather high ground clearance.
(M) Devil Weaponless bot... The spikes are just there for decoration but it does have a halfway decent wedge and decent drive. the horns do give it an advantage as it's a bit hard to flip.
(H) Coal Miner Oh yes, the bot that looks similar to Tornado(mostly because it's a basic invertable bot with a weapon attached), while it's main weapon isn't that powerful it can still use it as a rammer and is decent with that. This and the ability for it to run upside down make it a somewhat dangerous bot, but out of the two HW invertable bots it's the one that gets stuck on the sides easier.
Overall a rather good team except for the middleweight.
Team Spark The team that will destroy you (L) Jackpot Clever design, the weapon is rather stong and the wedge helps it, it does have some self righting problems so it can only self right sometimes.
(M) The Boxer Thank the original creators that this bot isn't invertable because it can quickly deal a lot of damage with it's piston boxing fists, luckily the pistons are exposed and once it's upside down it will just continue moving in a funny way.
(H) EMERGENCY While it is defeatable I still find this one of the most annoying bots in the game, it has often cost me matches because it managed to get my invertable/self righting robots stuck/just got into the way or by flipping me off of the tabletop arenas... As if the flippers weren't worse, it also starts ramming your bot once it loses them, flipping it is possible however the bot is heavy and once in a while gets a lucky powerful flip resulting in it landing on it's back where it can do a simple flip to land on it's wheels again, so immobilizing it permanent is difficult unless you push it under the flame jets in the bridge arena. Bots with high damage(my MW spinner made it but was heavily damaged in the end) can still do a decent job against it, as long as they can run upside down/self right).
Do I need to say anything? They're the best team in the game, while their HW is the best bot, the LW and MW aren't exactly bad either.
Spike Heads Spike Themed Team (L) M.A.D. Might not lok like it, but it's actually a decent rammer with sadly exposed wheels.
(M)Dementia While the wiki calls it one of the worst Stock MW's, I've seen it do decent pushing around, not giving the other robots any chance to do something, so don't underestimate this bot.
(H) Little Metal Friend Oh the Bot that the team wanted us to meet, it's an interesting clamp, however for some reason they didn't bother AIing it correctly so it's just a bigger invertable Sabertooth. Runs both ways up making it a bit hard to immobilize, interesting design, sometimes deals a good bit of damage.
An ok team, don't underestimate them but don't worry too much either.
North Polers Arctic themed team (L) MiniBerg The worse version of the two mountain bots, nice design however everything seems to oversized to the hammer, somewhat ok LW with a good way of dealing damage.
(M) Iceberg The better of the two, the chassis here looks better fitting to the weapon even if it's way bigger, also wheels no longer stick out. The hammer here is dangerous, so once
again spinners, look out for it. Once again a HW(even if it's just by a tiny bit) cheater...
(H) SnowJob Another one of those cases where you expected a completely different robot as a HW, this time another hammer bot, however all you get it SnowJob, possibly the best pusher
in the game but with no means to deal damage(and a really questionable name).
The North Polers have decent Light and Mediumweight bots with good damage output, however their Heavyweight is one of the worst bots if it isn't in tabletop.
High Voltage Electricity based team (L) Flapjack While it might not look too strong and like a bot that suffers from the common "flipper/hammer without self righting" problems it's actually decent, doesn't have the wheels at zero ground clearance level but it's still hard to get under it, except for the front where the caster wheel is.
(M) BackSlash Another flipper, this time based on Biohazard? Ground clearance doesn't seem to be bad(it's not zero through) but since it requires this to go under other bots(unlike Flapjack who has a wedge) it does suffer a bit from it, it's flipper doesn't want to work well most of the time and for some reason breaks off almost every time he tries to self right, poor thing.
(H) Wide Load Another surprise heavyweight, interestingly it could be faster but is nefed down, no way to drive upside down and it's shape mean it's one of the easier bots to flip, after which it will just move around slowly just like any piston bot. Does have the potential to deal high damage but usually doesn't get all of those spikes to hit.
Hex Another team which tries to be Spark but isn't as good. (L) Flame Chopper Looks decent and has a good weapon for a LW, even sometimes self rights, however the high ground clearance on the front can be trouble.
(M) LugNut See Catfish, looks like a mix of Catfish with Roly Poly's weapons, however this one is flat as a pancake and doesn't run upside down.
(H) Hanky Panky Looks like it's a copy of a battlebots bot, while the flipper concept is nice, an iron spike just isn't a good flipper weapon to get under other bots, with that said it can actually flip however that ends up with it itself almost falling over.
Team that isn't too good but does have some nice concepts that work once in a while.
Team Z "Cooler than you" (L) Berzerker One of the only two "full body spinners" in the game, surprisingly there's no heavyweight, a really strong and destructive LW.
(M) Razor A driving wedge with exposed wheels and spike strips, not really sure what the idea was here(other than getting the robot stuck on top of it) but getting a robot up there with that ground clearance is difficult, overall one of the worse MW's.
(H) Eye Poker The second, harder to immobilize invertable robot, having long ramming spikes as weapon. Sadly it doesn't really do much damage and has a weak drive.
Ok team
Steelyard Dog (missspelled as StelYard Dawg in the wiki, even if it's more fitting, I like to call them Steelyard Dogs) A team of mostly slow pushing bots. (L) Lil' Dog Zero Ground clearance(or at least the closest to it) with a wedge and design that stands out from the other two Steelyard bots. No weapons so just hack away at it...
(M) Da Dog Snowplow adds some nice defense to it and it does have good armor, but that's all it really does, again weak drive.
(H) Big Dog Using the same drive as the middleweight(and once again being a copy), however it's weight means the drive is even slower, to it's defenses it does have the ram plate at the back, however the paintjob makes it look like it was once supposed to be a flipper(which is also my plan for team Steelyard)
Weak but durable team.
RIOT Just like Hex, it feels like this team tries to get to team Spark's level but doesn't quite make it. (L) Civil Disobedience The cool paintjob is the only good thing on this, weapon never seems to do anything at all so for me it's the worst LW.
(M) REVENGE Halfway decent, however the exposed motor is an easy target and it's easily possible to jam up it's blade, giving you the chance you need.
(H) Raptor Possibly the best hammer in the game, as it can self right as long as it's not under half power, double hammers also mean that it does better damage.
Megaton Boom (L) Stinger A really good LW, even if it's not invertible, it's shape and weight distirbution make it a pain to flip and the Razor does good damage just like expected.
(M) Tornado Full body spinner with odd spikes on top(are those there for self righting) sometimes manages to get on it's feet and can be really damaging. Also does this bot only get called tempest because of the DSL version or was that an early name for it?
(H) DEADBEAT Sadly another hammer copy, but this time with odd drive and a sledgehammer which rips off components, I'd say it's alright minus the ground clearance.
The Scrappers Spinner based team (L) Arc Pounder It's a bit big for a LW, don't you think? It's huge but I guess that's what it can do thanks to it's low weapon weight, can do some serious damage and since it's invertible it's one of the most annoying LW's. Best to just ram it once it isn't spinning and then pit it/damage it's wheels/weapons/chassis.
(M) Ripblade Reminds me of Nightmare somehow even if it's not really similar. while it looks decent the blade never seems to do any damage and it's helping wheels can easily be damaged. Another bot that's technically a heavyweight
(H) Backyard Ripper Looks like something that could do damage however it doesn't seem to do that much and gets it's attachments ripped off easily. If it lands on it's disc it can sometimes spin fast enough to flip it back on it's feet.
Decent ideas but not too destructive.

Is it possible/is this already for having different tracks for each arena(by adding it to each of their own init scripts)?
