I'd originally got 4 ramplates, 2 stacked into each other, but it left me 4kg short for sufficient wedge length. Hence longer wedges, casters and blades instead. Couldn't really lose 4kg anywhere, even off the chassis.

That said, as the wedges are static, I could mount them on SII instead, make the chassis shorter, stack the CB into the blacks and save weight there... maybe.

Given it's been nearly 2 years I'm disappointed to have only found this only on page 5 of the stock showcases.

Presenting the tiniest poopup I could make:

Weapons and drive built off one SII. Two ramplates. True popup.

Obviously there are problems for combat but I was aiming for the extreme.

Damn, both of these are fantastic.

Are Megalodon's axe heads trappers or decorative?

The spikes are terrifyingly big...

Can you put anything on the spinner beaters to add weight? I mean idk how Ironforge works but it's worth a try maybe?

As SB says, a lovely variety of bots. Here's some thoughts from me.

WIRKLICH GUTE NaMEN (PizzaGuy2020): Long reach will be useful, also keeps opponents away from what looks like a shoddy and fragile extender job. Is it invertible?

BLADE BREAKER (Thrackerzod): Going to be powerful and damaging, provided it can hit bots with the normals. Another non invertible one.

LAND OF THE SPINNING SWORDS (Kungfooey242): What weapon motors is this packing? Be interested to see the contrast with Blade Breaker re: width of the weapons and the fact that normals exist.

GLAIVE (Wacky Bob): Side hammer? As long as the wedges are decent then it can do a lot of decent work. Many of the other's sides are open to eating.

SHOGUN WARRIOR (RedAce): Spinners beware, this will be really potent against them.

IN COLD BLOOD (090901): Flipper? Nice loophole abuse here. If the AI is willing to leave robots upside down/if the bot is capable of OotA's then this is a potent entry.

SPIRIT OF WEABOO 3 (Somebody): This one's success is a big DoW one. Against the spinners it's in trouble, the weapons won't last.

Predictions:

Blade Breaker vs in cold blood: icb to exploit BB's lack of being invertable. immobilisation or OotA.

Wirklich vs Glaive: The length of Wirklich will be a problem here for Glaive. I think it might take the plow off and the KO. otherwise a WBP.

Shogun vs Weaboo: A wedge war, but Shogun just outnumbers Weaboo so for that I'm going with it.

LotSS vs in cold blood: LotSS is probably in the best place to just be flipped by icb. OotA for me.

Wirklich vs Shogun: I think the hammer has a massive advantage here. Nice exposed top on Wirklich and its reach seems better than Glaive's.

Shogun vs in cold blood: Wedge war. As Shogun could KO or WBP, let's give it the edge.

I miss doing BTTB. I really do.

Thanks for doing this RedAce, it's somewhat humbling. And it's been great.

Oh dear, Compement or Complicate?. What a dismal robot you are.

Interesting to see how competently GF93's bots did in this.

EDIT: HOW DID THE F1 CAR WIN A MATCH

Hey all,

I'm trying to change the colour of the background in stock because the gray almost clashes with rubber wheels. I know that in DSL it's simple, just modify the batsuit.tga file, but that doesn't seem to exist in Stock 1.4. This leads me to suspect it's a .gib that needs changing but I've not got the foggiest which one.

Any ideas?
