I haven't studied the original original of life for some time, so I don't remember all the details so well.
The point still stands - life didn't come about because some deity came about and said "ORGANISMS GET!"
More like, life didn't start because a bunch of random chemicals sprang to life of their own accord. Do you know the mathematical odds of a chain of amino acids randomly combining to form DNA? Well, I'll tell you. They're 1 over 10 to the 67th, or practically zero.
Which is why completely new forms of life don't spring up too often.

There's quite a bit of snow here. It's melting on the roads and sidewalks right now, but it's supposed to snow again later tonight and again at some point for at least the remainder of the week.

Yeah, you're lucky. In Edinburgh, the entire university is shut because of snow, as are all the catering outlets on campus. So guess what we got? RATIONS. =D
Wow. Even if my university were to close, which isn't likely because we're accustomed to the snow around here, I would still have to go to work at my dining center. We're considered "essential services".

HAHAHAHA! Really I'm here cause I missed the community and I want to share some technical stuff that I'm learning while I work for Sony Ericsson, UK. So if you guys want some insight on some of stuff related to smartphones, pc's, and everything android than I'll start a discussion in the software board!
Clearly, you're an unbiased source for that sort of information.

frezal, I have no idea what you are talking about.
Somebody needs more exposure to Jews! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oy_veyI would comment on the video itself, but I couldn't really see anything, nor could I understand any of the dialogue. Do you have a higher quality version?

I have only gone to public schools (including college/university), so I can't really state a preference. I will say that I found the experience to be satisfactory. Sure, it could be a lot better, but it provided me with the tools necessary to self-educate.

It appears that he is looking for validity...
My question was a valid one. Whether or not he feels as though it properly addresses his question is a different issue. Perhaps answering my own question will serve to better answer his. "Was that really necessary?" Absolutely not, but then again, nothing really is. The intention of my comment was to get people like Sparkles to realize that much of forums has little to do with the RA2. Contrary to what has been stated previously, I do not dislike the Sparkles. For the most part, he seems like a good kid. I think he tries too hard to fit in, but I think we all do, to a certain extent, at that age.

Was that a valid rebuttal?
Depends entirely on what you're looking for in a rebuttal.

This thread doesn't directly relate to RA2, thus, it should be banned.
Was that really necessary?
Is anything really necessary?

This is an RA2 forum, not an employment forum!
In all seriousness, complaining about your employer after they fire you seems low. You clearly didn't care about their business practices when they were paying you. You were also the one in the wrong. It's up to you to stay informed as to when you're supposed to work, and it's up to you to get there. Not firing you would have been a favor.

There is no real significance in anything you do. The only significance is what you make of it. Quit worrying about everything and enjoy yourself! Don't be a dick and ruin other people's fun, though.

This is an RA2 forum, not a roleplay forum. Simple as that.
Why don't we get rid of all of your non-RA2 posts then? Let's delete every music thread, the GTM MP3 player thing, every movie thread, every artwork thread, every political thread, and anything that doesn't stay on the topic of RA2. Sure, we'll only have maybe 3 members who remain, but it'll be focussed, goddammit!

But unlike 99% of bargin bin games this allows for an infinint amout of bots. so...... that comment is invaild.
While technically an infinite amount of bots can be made, most of the effective designs have already been done. Bots that are essentially clones populate the showcases due to very limited choices, and lack of human creativity. That wasn't my point, though. The game was released 7 years ago in the bargain bin. This means that even when it was new, the exposure to the masses was very limited. Now, people either have to be told about the game, or they have to happen to stumble upon it. With no Battlebots on TV, mainstream interest in robot combat is essentially gone. Without the mainstream attention, you can't exactly expect that a large group of people will remain interested in a game that hasn't been officially supported in years. [Apologies for any incoherencies. I just drove for 6 hours right after working for 4.]

That's the reason RA2 is dying away. The only major RA2 forum still out there and all people want to do is roleplay. We have people joining JUST FOR THE ROLEPLAY.
The reason RA2 is dead dying is because it was a bargain bin game released 7 years ago.

Yay! I'm not the only maths geek on these forums :D
At one point I was majoring in math education.

Really? Nice to know there's something wrong with me then. :P
Depends. Do you have the sexual desire, but choose not to masturbate for moral/religious/political/other reasons? If no sexual desire has entered your mind, you could be a "late bloomer".

I'm partly in agreement with Frezal. I'm just waiting for an argument about the younger audience to pop up.
And GF93, I will shred you like a roast beef joint or whatever stereotypically English food there is.
Kids under 13 aren't supposed to be on here without parental consent. If you haven't masturbated by 13, there might be something wrong with your hormone production.
