Perhaps it would work if you put a transparent background. (like the disc picture) i tried skinning the disc once, but when i resaved it, it looked like a square on the robot

because it doesnt get flipped too often, i just wanted a little protection against it instead of wasting weight and time on a srimech. they extenders are static, and do help.

well, you see it when you post the robot. it may be silly, but is there any harm? the point of a skin is to mix things up a bit. in the pack i will have 4 different colors of airtank along with the original. just choose the one you like the most.

what i did was create another component to do it, but im working on how to do it just using the original. madiaba is the one who taught me, but im sure there is a tutorial somewhere. i thought i saw one on the BB's site. im also available on AIM or Yahoo chat to explain it. its easier with a mic and talking than constant IM's.

im starting a big project with my skins. i want to make a pack with all of them. it will look kinda like this:   this is a chance for anyone to put their own skins in the pack. just send me a link with a picture next to it. ill be glad, but it is hard. thats why i only have 2 components done :) a huge thanks to madiaba for teaching me how to do this.
