Yes but have 2 hpztecs for drive and 10 hpztecs stacked in just one for weapons, and they hit at the same time... :) how do they hit at the same time. on a tribar only 1/3 hit at one time, so only 1/3 of your weapons will. and with 10 hpz, must be razors, which will be torn apart by my spikes and maces.

why is there no battleshots for stock RA2? anyways, check this out.  i have no idea how the  it happened. i think that my HS (which was AIed) havoked UNDERNEATH HoJ, and attacked his teeny-weeny chassis for the kill. the chassis looks like this:  any other ideas?

My god sage... I'm not even gonna try. I can only assume that thats one sh!tload of snapper and eFFe glitching on there. It's...uhh...nice? it was really just a test of how well i could make it with one snapper. its kinda asymmetrical, but it very, very good in combat. it beat my ULTIMATUM every time cept a couple where either we both lost a wheel, or i lost both wheels. (ULTIMATUM was AI) its not that hard if you look at the basics of a HS. to get double or triple spikes, you can only have one extender connecting the motor to the snapper. with that clue, see if you can get it. i understand if the drive is perplexing though. to venko: your bot might (possibly, however much i doubt it) be better, but is it built with one snapper? that was my goal. i know AC could probably beat it, but... you get the idea.

it was never meant to be an upgraded pitbull. i was just trying out the snapper loading glitch on things other than HS. speaking of snapper loading...  if anyone remembers, i built a full hs with only one snapper a while back in my old showcase. it was ugly. really ugly. so i tried again. nightmare trying to get the drive symmetrical, but it worked out in the end. i give 10 bucks to the person who figures out the setup.

I am trying to be origional in my design, and my tests on the current model have been really good (smashed Biohazard, Behemoth and almost beat Emergency once).
How do these contests usually go? Do the 'win in 3 seconds' robots usually grab it?
only popups can do that (although i did have a hammer do it in 7) try making your robot invertible to beat Emergency. flipping is its only weapon.

the reason we got so many new people is because Robot Arena site had a link to the old forums. if we redirected again, those new people could find this site.

i just went to see the old forum for nostalgia, and it seems now to be just as fast as this one. im missing the old days when someone could post a bot and other people could actually comment. (i have gotten only 3 or less comments for each new bot, whatever it is. i mean, i have 3 new bots on the same page  ) is this game dieing, or is everyone just finishing school, or what? is it that people left when the old forum died? it just doesn't seem that anyones that enthusiastic anymore. all the tournaments of recent suddenly stop, there are more posts in flame wars than most other, more important threads. starcore is MIA, leaving his pack unfinished (i would be willing to help finish it with some other people, as sort of a tribute). why are people still posting on the old forum? and why are there almost no new showcases or people?

@ ROBOSH4RK: thanks for thinking that. it did own the old one. but i have a big problem right now with my Ra2. suddenly, it wont let me do anything without my disc, which i haven't used in a YEAR. i don't even think i have it anymore. i tried reapplying the 1.3 patch (didn't help) and such. so, no battleshots for now, and this might be my last bot for a while. but in most of the fights, the extenders didn't break. they might look exposed, but the maces have a weird collision mesh that makes them larger than they appear.
@Naryar: ??? first you ask how i did it, then you explain it. if you mean how i got the extenders on, i put them on first then axle glitched them outta the way so i could put the red snapper in for the weapon motors. not that difficult if you get the hang of it.

well, the forum sure is slow this week...  the red and black snappers are just a hint of whats to come in my new skin pack. they are the same thing as the blue one, just a different color. this robot was started trying to upgrade The Troll from Scv4, and i got carried away....
