Oh, I might have been thinking of another thread, but it was a black box-shaped chassis with a front wedge, four wheel slots cut into the top, and a white skull painted onto its top.

i need a nother pair of wheels then
Ah. I thought it was referring to that chassis in the picture below- it looked like it already had four-wheel drive.

i like, i like :approve:
Thanks- I think Lifting Spikes would be a weapon well-suited to that particular robot, utilising powerful four-wheel drive to impale its opponents, and either flip them over, or drag them into nearby hazards.
Hence, we might see more uses for the pit in Roaming Robots than before   :approve:

Well in which case, maybe some electric lifting spikes at the front might be good. A bit like Africanised Killerbot or Panic Attack, really. Come to think of it, I think Lifting Spikes would be a weapon well-suited to that particular robot.

A couple, having seen almost all of Robot Wars in the past.

- A Pneumatic Spike with a hardened tip might be an idea- it'd be great for punching through bodywork.

- A Sergeant Bash-style front cutting arm built into the wedge, for grabbing hold of opponents and dragging them around- I've seen a couple of FW Crushers about.

- A front-hinged Flipper built along the front wedge and into the top of the shell, almost like an RA2-style popup. Opponent drives onto it? Pow, flips them over. Like a Landmine, almost.

any ideas for what weapon/ shape i should build my fw with??
Weapon ideas? Well, I could imagine if you have powerful drive, an electric lifting scoop with Plunderbird-style wedge stops on top of the body, just in front of where the wedge begins.

A battlebots rumble that included Razer and Mortis

Noticed Killerhurtz in there as well, and Razer had a bit of a "Determinator" vibe to it in order to survive with its front drive wheels locked up  :P

R.I.P Random guy I know nothing about that I meant to care about.

You will be missed.

Oh wait, no you won't.

Is there any wonder why people dislike you with that attitude?

EDIT: Foul language removed, user warned!

Am liking the look of the chassis, so far. Will the wheels face towards the wedge when it's finished, though?

DSL3 Preview was getting offtopic.

NOTE: Set computer date to 01/01/2002!!!!

Can't seem to fix Nightmare's disc.
The unseen components these robots use are quite interesting- namely Fang's arm, and those tines on the ends of Yellow Buzzard's lifter/flipper arm.

And the arena itself...it somewhat reminds me of a cross between the Octagon and the Metal Skull Arenas.

No, I said that because in the Loser's Bracket, he's on my team. Or is he?

Would it be alright if I made B2 a flipper?

Yeah, all lifters can be flippers or vice-versa
That's good to hear. Judge Shred-style flippers, here I come!

Thanks to Trovaner for pulling the raw mesh out of the RA2 tech demo arena.  After a bit of resizing, reskinning, and making txt files, we now have a saw blade with real teeth.  About time, I say.  Once you see this, you'll never want to go back to that .tga saw blade with the teeth facing different directions depending on which side you look at.
Sweet! I can imagine them being particularly cool to look at when slicing through extender work. Nice work on them, Click    :approve:

I really need to get my VHS turned into DVDs. I have so many high quality videos of robotwars, battlebots, and robotica I could put up.
Nice! Have you got any of Mortis's fights in Battlebots, might I ask?

My pizza has a dough that has paprika in it. I then make a mix of tomato puree and chilli for the base ingredient. My topping is various different kinds of chilli, various different colors of cheese, spicy pepperoni and various other different kinds of spiced meats (depends what's in the house at the time)

Anybody wanna try this spicy delicacy?
Certainly   :approve:

what's that, besides the obvious butter on bread?

Butter on a hamburger bun. Parmesan cheese is optional.
So essentially a Hamburger, minus the burger and any of the stuff that makes the burger tastier?  :P

Pretty much. Only add in butter and Parmesan cheese.
I think I'll stick to my recipe for Classic American-style Hamburgers, methinks  :P
