So make the RW arena with floor spikes and killsaws?
Love the word 'burnination' by the way (':
Should be quite different once (and if) it's finished- and yes, I love that word, too. One of the great things Trogdor taught me

Just as a thought. Not too long ago, I designed an arena for RA2, which I thought would be good to implement into the game itself, perhaps even use it for a tournament in the future. As a result, I put pen to paper, and came up with a design below- [PICS COMING ASAP, WILL NOTIFY ONCE FINISHED AND UPLOADED] Here is a list of planned hazards- * The Pit- functions much like the original RW Hazard, opened by a switch on the far side of the arena. Instantly eliminates any robot that falls, is pushed, or drives into, and is just above the depth of the arena itself to the floor. * Killsaws- Rust in Pieces! These powerful cutting blades should function much like their IRL Counterparts, but I aim to give them the strength of standard attachable sawblades mounted on 180 Perms. If possible, could they lift robots up as opposed to retracting into the floor when robots drive onto them? * Flame Grilles- About the size of the standard Spike/Sawblade pads in the Combat Arena, these hazards consist of three Flame Jets mounted in rows for maximum burnination should robots drive onto them. * Floor Spikes- these will be rigged in one end of the arena floor, in a configuration of five. I hope to give them the strength to bounce robots into the air should they hit them. * Arena Walls- Low enough to be flipped over, but high enough to keep robots in- slightly higher than the RA2 Tournament Arena, but slightly lower than the BBEANS arena. However, as I'm better at designing things than actually making them, I was wondering if it'd be possible to get some help in physically creating it, whilst I make the textures. Is this alright, and if this does go ahead, could I recieve the necessary assistance in doing so? Thanks.

Right. Anyway, I might work on something for this. Possibly RA2-related.

GF93, have you ever considered ACAMS came down on you for swearing, which is not allowed, and not for any rubbish about taking FOTEPX's side you just made up?
I didn't make up what Fotep said. On here, I don't lie. And the swearing? That's the thing- how ACAMS remains blissfully ignorant of anything else, yet whenever anyone swears, he'd pretty much suspend/mute you at the first opportunity he had. I mean, look what happened to the users besides myself.
Firstly, I ever said anything about what FOTEPX said. I I was referring to you assuming that ACAMS muted you out of sympathy for FOTEPX, when there is no evidence of that.
Also, swearing isn't allowed. It may be distasteful, but there's no rule preventing FOTEPX from being disrespectful. I agree with it no more than the next guy, but you were the one who was breaking the rule, technically.
More of a mocking gesture than an actual statement of fact, but I suppose it could've been misleading in that fact. What more annoyed me really was how until I mentioned it here, no one (I think) called Pantep McNudity out on what he said.

Probably Super Mario Land 4 : Wario Land. On a transparent gameboy.
TAKE THAT, MARIO PLAYERS.
Wario Land 1? I remember that one! The Bull and Jet Helmets were such fun to use

GF, I didn't report you. ACAMS is just doing his job.
Never suspected it for a second- just with ACAMS suddenly deciding that I hurt your poor widdle feewings by swearing, he comes down on me like a ton of bricks, whilst he ignores the real problem- in this case, you being such an insensitive arse on the subject of death.
Stop whining; that's your main problem. Just stop kicking that dead pony horse.
Not simply whining this time, matey. So you're taking Faptep's side?

DP:
Why's GF been muted?
I believe FOTEPX reported him for swearing - IIRC, the situation was about FOTEPX dissing a dead person, or something along those lines, and boss defending the person being dissed >.> (This is the story as I heard it from boss, so...)
test EDIT: Pretty much. Here's the entire event- R.I.P Random guy I know nothing about that I meant to care about.
You will be missed.
Oh wait, no you won't.
Is there any wonder why people dislike you with that attitude?
EDIT BY ACAMS: Foul language removed, user warned!
That, pretty much. My original post had "F**k you" written in it, thus the Swearing Lynchmob came. To be honest, that beardy old sod ACAMS couldn't manage a pie-eating contest- thanks to his backwards "Frontier Justice", I get 75% and muted for the flimsiest of reasons, and Faptex gets off as a Karma Houdini. Again.

Oh, and for those of you that cant get the other bots to work you have to press the appropriate number to initiate the camera on the bot and then press F11 to gain control of it.
But yeah. I agree that the movement seems really fluid and zippy... but it is a splendid Havok Fest altogether. I laughed so hard when I tried to get them to move around and they would frickin' bounce off everything. At one point I hit the moving blade and my bot soared into the air in slow-mo like the gravity got turned off... it bounced around a few times before coming to a halt. Silly stuff.
So you could basically play this as the battle music in accordance with the physics?

But. Would the arena be makeable in Ra2? The demo has the gmf and the map files.
Could be possible- I can see it being quite a fun arena to play in. What hazards does it have?
From what I seen in the video and pictures a sawblade, what looks like the flippers in the octagon, oil? and 2 pits.
Two pits and a sawblade, eh? In which case, it's definitely worth looking into.

Not bad for a first crawler, but you could shrink the chassis in order to stack two Blacks, remove the pinks, and therefore provide room for more spikes and armour and things.

That's OK. Kind of makes me want to build me own Featherweight, actually.
