To make a proper fretzal, I would need to use lye. Since I don't want to risk severe burns, I think I'll hold off. Of course, I could always use baking soda and then apply an egg wash for browning.

Well, how do I make concessions for this? I've said that I don't care about the colour scheme, and people DO say that it's good. I've said that I did take your advice, but it just didn't work out. If the only advice you give is about the colour scheme, then there is no point going on about it if I've tried. My monitor shows colours clearly, and it wasn't just me who thought it looked even worse from your advice.
You clearly didn't do it right.

I'm trying to resolve the argument by explaining clearly what I think, but you just want to argue methinks. Fine by me. What argument, and how exactly are you trying to resolve anything? You've made no concessions. All you've done is cry about how terrible of people we are for daring to say your forum isn't as good as it could be. And FYI, I spent HOURS experimenting. All the schemes hurt the eyes.
There are several explanations for that. I'll give you what I think the top three probable explanations are: 1) You didn't do it right. 2) Your monitor doesn't do a good job of displaying colors. 3) Your brightness is set too high.

I only advertised it so that people could join. Yes, I think we all know what the point of advertising is. I don't think it's perfect, but I didn't ask for advice. I don't care that you didn't ask for advice. When I see something that needs improvement, advice will be given. Can't take the criticism? Keep it to yourself until you develop some thicker skin. It's not there so that it can be perfect. And when I DID follow your advice, people said that the colour scheme burnt there eyes, so I put it back to how it was. Therefore, I did listen to your advice, but it just didn't turn out as planned.
So instead of tinkering with the color wheel and finding colors that work, you decided to give up and go with what you once had? With just a little bit of effort, you could have a forum that doesn't burn the eyes and isn't fugly. Just do some experimenting.

I try to ignore the sh** that they type, but sometimes the just push me too far. There was no need for them to object to my forum. They could more easily just not go on it.
The advice given was practical. If you would like to continue thinking that everything you do is perfect, don't advertise anything you do. Keep it to yourself. As somebody who likes to see people reach their full potential, I will tell you how it can be improved if you inform me of its existence. ...I kinda meant left alone here by the people who weren't leaving me alone in the first place.

Look, we all get bullied. Throughout high school, I was a fat kid who was confused about my sexual identity. That sh** wasn't fun to deal with. You know what, though? It got better. Keep your head up and stay open to criticism.

You can talk about whatever you want. Nobody is stopping you. What you need to realize is that not everyone is going to agree with you. You may even frequently find yourself in the minority, but that doesn't matter. Stick to your opinions until you can be persuaded otherwise. Look, I am being as calm and tollerant as possible in the situation. There is nothing wrong with the forum, there is no need for comments from you. The forum does not affect you in any way. I would appreciate it if you leave it, and me, alone.
Being tolerant doesn't mean ignoring opposing views and pretending everything is perfect. Valid criticisms were made. Choosing not to address the glaring flaws points to a bigger issue: low self esteem. You clearly don't think highly of yourself, so you cannot handle it when people disagree. Just calm down, kid. You're not any less of a person because your color scheme is bad. Christ, kids. Do you think I managed to go my whole life without others giving me a hard time? You just have to learn to deal with it and realize that most people are assholes. Stop being such babies and accept that differences occur.

Note: I'm only doing mine so that I can be in a community with my friends. I don't care about ads or anything, as long as I get to talk to people in a different way to here. Let's face it: with too many people, it's difficult to have a decent conversation without people butting in.
Why not just talk on Facebook, then? Why bother creating a forum if you don't want to maximize the potential?

Here's the thing, kids. Serge is absolutely correct on all accounts. Free hosting means ads everywhere, and limited features. You're also completely reliant upon your host to install the latest software. You want ad-ons/mods? Forget about it! Your forum is also really ugly. Having images scroll across the screen got old in the '90s, when the web was still in its "wild west" days. The color scheme is also not appealing on the eyes. If you want to know how to come up with a good color scheme, read this: http://www.colorsontheweb.com/combiningcolors.aspFinally, you have too many categories. Having too many categories spreads discussion too thin. As stated by Serge, two categories would suffice, though if you want more, I would say your upper limit is 4. Don't exceed this until it is absolutely necessary. We're not trying to be assholes; we're trying to help you kids succeed. To do so, you need to drop your ego and listen. If you don't take criticism, your forum will end up a miserable failure like Reier's.
