i should have used Hp z-tek instead of those normal z-tek for the drive motor... i screwed up....
That, and it should be 4WD HPZ (you could afford it by turning most if not all of the maces to razors). Also, turn your Snapper2s around so the wedge stance is wider.

My dad bought a PS3 because it's one of the best Blu-ray players at that time (I think right now it still is).

...then we found out about its anti-piracy feature. D:

I was supposed to say that you're wasting chassis weight on the rammer, then I realized you couldn't add anything else if you optimized it, so that's fine.

I'm liking the popup VERY much. Mostly because that's exactly what I had planned for my popup way back then but I tried too hard to put a spike strip on it and just gave up. lol

[Edit] Now that AS said it, try optimizing the chassis and see if you can upgrade the picks to maces.

Turn the AW's drive motors around. That turning circle scares me.

MW looks cool though.

Is this consistent enough to occur on most of the bots you're gonna build from now on? If so, SWEET.

Half-life 1 boring

dude no

Yes.
Jeez, if you've stopped playing HL1 because of the introductory train sequence, then you've missed a lot. I don't care if you like Underground and BF3, but you couldn't know what a good game is until you've played HL1 because that's pretty much the baseline of what a good game is.

Out of your list, I would say that FC3 pretty much what HL1 is to that era, which means that you're missing out on a lot of old good games, man. :<

NFS 1,2,3,4,5 Most Wanted & Underground are the only playworthy NFS games

I was thinking the exact same thing.

LOL get this bullsh** out of here
maybe Carbon is a worthy addition.
lol not even close

Carbon's visual upgrading system is bloody ugly and pretty much everything went underground starting from... well... Underground. Criterion saved NFS's ass with Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted.

I personally liked Underground I and the non-Criterion Most Wanted, but I have to admit my judgement was slightly impaired during that period, as evidenced by my appreciation for Limp Bizkit at that time.

[Edit] The earlier Most Wanted wasn't that bad, but it was totally outclassed by its reboot.

In no particular order:

Portal
Half-Life series (4 HL games taking up 4 spots would be unfair lol)
Unreal Tournament 2004
Bastion
Pokemon Crystal
Gran Turismo 3
NFS: High Stakes
TES: Morrowind
Deus Ex
GTA: Vice City
C&C: Generals
Silent Hill 2
Spec Ops: The Line
Team Fortress series
WH40K: Dawn of War
KOTOR II
Paper Mario
Shadow of the Colossus
Okami
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

IRL in general wants to have the least external components possible, which is why the roles of a wedge and drive protection are pretty much done by the chassis as well. Otherwise, it would take some extra effort to make everything look clean.

Name doesn't really do it justice if it's just 2WD.

Pretty much all the occasions I encountered a bot having wedges sinking underground, the other bot does as well (should it have wedges), so it will still be a wedge war. :<

Nice to someone being able to do it consistently, though.

the Redbird spinner on the first one = bad idea

The least you could do is explain why. Is it exposed? Is it too weak? I personally liked the earlier one better, but that's because I liked the bear claws acting as stabilizers as well.

Using components for the first time does not excuse you from the fact that you could still have made the whole bot symmetric, not to mention that flippermaker isn't even protecting those bursts from whatever frontal attack it could receive.

You've been posting compliments on other people's IRL bots that pretty much show you how it's done. You should know better. :P
