Thought i might aswell update the old Team Hunt section.
Team Hunt are now up to 2 robots, with a 3rd expected for 2010.
So, here's a summary of how the robots are faring...
Hunter:
Doing very well.
Infact, he is the only robot currently running!
All bugs have been fixed to the best of my ability.
Some of the fixes include new reciever, battery and replaced 2 of the wheels.
He is running perfectly for Maidstone, next month.
Little Patience:
Team Hunt's best AW by far!
He had his first event in September, coming 1st in Death Ball along with 2 other ants, 2 wins in the non spinner combat and 2nd in the Annhiliator.
All in all, a very succesful event, winning the best newcomer award aswell.

Plus a bit of trivia: Little Patience is named after a popular trait of mine :) (Even though some would disagree)
Artemis:
Team Hunt's new FW for 2010.
Artemis will be a high pressure flipper.
So far we have the pnumatics in, and all we need to get now is motors, steel, batterys ect.
Plus the design is down aswell.
It looks a bit like a slightly squashed Hard, with the wheels at the back, making a bit of a Firestorm/Iron Awe 5 effect.
A fairly good design, should all hopefully work when it comes together.
But for now we just need to get all of the parts in :)
Also soon i might be getting FleaWeight (under 75g and must fit into a 3 inch cube, yes, very small!) called Erebus.
So, the next update will be after Maidstone in November.

Ok, but unless i have your robot then i cant put you down for entering.
ANNOUNCMENT: For today and tommorow i'll be on a short trip to the south of england, so i'll be away from my main computer, but i'll be taking my laptop with me, so i wont be able to AI any robots for the next 2 days, but i will be able to clarify people into the tourny and maybe get some work done on the prize.
EDIT:And if anyone asks, i have flu :P

im with Sonny on this.
For a start, we STILL cant have any reskinned or custom components, which means that the range of replicas that can be done is VERY slim.
Next, just MWs?!
A: I'm having trouble thinking of a decent British MW that wouldnt involve custom components (since im doing this for Britain, as always, lol)
B: Middleweights to me are, the 'odd' class.
Now adays, theres only like 5/6 middleweights still running in britain!
So, i think it would be better if the weight class was to be changed to something wider like LWs and HWs.
If these things are not met, then i can see this tournament going very badly.

I managed to film the HW fights last night! ^-^
So, with them done and now the FWs...
TRAILER!!!!:
I know who the winners of the HWs and FWs are, so you guys are going to have to watch because i aint saying :P
A lot of suprises in this new series, plenty of great fights and TONNES of destruction :D
I've already made some changes to some of the bots, meaning that NEXT series will be even better!!
But of course, i'm going to have to get this series done and dusted first, and asap, as all the filming has left me with 3.17gb's left! O.O (Why must the files be so big?)
So, im going to start with heat A today, get the new vid look for the heats and stuff out of the way, then the rest of the heats will be finished quicker and easier.
