It can be as much about the draw than the actual robot's effectiveness. Think about Bounty Hunter in BBEANS .

I had a similar thing happen yesterday with a call center asking to speak to "the homeowner". I said I was extremely angry at having to cut my shower short to answer the phone, and demanded they explain themselves immediately. They hung up. 6304

090901 will get 16 friends to stand in a circle with the names of the entrants written on their shirts. He will then blindfolf himself and spin around and around in the center of the circle, before shooting one of them with a semi-automatic pistol. He will then put the name on the deceased friend's shirt in the first spot of the bracket, and continue with this method, working his way down.

System is alright, but I think Visitor is a little bit better. It still keeps that retro feel, but it doesn't look terribly outdated. I think the middle one does look best, but it really could use a bit of touching up.

Now that is an interesting design. It looks a bit mish-mash, but it seems to actually work. If everything was skinned in a similar colour, I think it'd look fantastic. I thought the Redbirds were the drive motors at first.

Those look to be V3 machines, judging by Maelstrom. If you get V4, then Maelstrom has twice as many weapons, and MUCH better protection.
Also, the front pointy bits of the chassis are pointless, you can chop them off and extend the chassis back a little to get the air tanks in properly. Although the piston isn't doing much, I'd just make it a normal rammer. In which case it needs at least 4WD HPZs. T connectors are effectively wasted weight, round extenders are much lighter, and give you two AP's for weapons in this configuration. But axe heads are a pretty good choice on rammers, you could add some more of those with some leftover weight. 6311

Once the splash comes up. Until then, we've got no idea who's built what. I wouldn't count out any of the bigger names, such as Pwn or Sage. I'm pretty confident with my entry as well, though.

If a being (like a god) would be so powerful that it could change anything it wanted or make anything any certain way, wouldn't it have the power to take this godly power away from its self, making it no longer omnipotent.....but if it was able to do this, isn't it still omnipotent? Why would it WANT to take said godly power away from itself? Nobody would be that stupid, except perhaps Hard Bot. =P 6316
Site News and Feedback / Re: User name change« on: June 09, 2011, 04:18:08 PM »
It would set a dangerous precedent if they did allow you to change your username whenever you liked. Because they might end up having to do this every week at someone's request, and that would effectively take up all of their time. You CAN get a name change, but you do need to have a pretty good reason for it, rather than just "I don't like it".

It does make a certain amount of sense. If Badnik doesn't fix his entry, there'll be two open spots, and two wildcards. I'd imagine either Sage or Click would make it, personally.
