Looks like a pretty good first bot to me. =] I have the same veering left problem with Halestorm 7, I think it's a case of AGOD, personally. If you're only using two Blackvolts, then I'd suggest Stacking them together. If you've attached the outer Ramplates with Baseplate Anchors, then you might want to attach the middle two with Baseplate Anchors as well. If you've attached them to the SnapperII's with 20cm extenders, then you could also drop the blades to 40cm to get the extra 4kg you need for it.

Sadly, there's no surefire cure for AGOD. There is a theory that exporting and importing into another empty slot in your bot lab will solve it, but I can't vouch for that, personally, as it hasn't worked for me.

He tried a DSL Bar, and the spinner messed up the steering for some reason, so he had to use the complicated method there to get it as low as possible without affecting the steering too much.

Got inspired after looking at some of Geice's setups. Took Snap!Happy 6's chassis, managed to stack a couple of SnapperII's together, and made this out of it.

2 Blacks, DSA, 6 HPZ's, 2 ramplates, 6 casters, 24 maces and 2 razors.

Demon can get explosion OOTA.
From the back or sides only. From the front, Explosion could OOTA Demon with no trouble at all. If anything, Demon should be easier to OOTA thanks to the gyroscopic forces of the disc keeping it straight as it flies.

That's true, but you need to get some practice in with regular competition bots beforehand, otherwise you will end up with a Zombie Pirate Ninja. It was one of my earliest DSL bots, I entered it in BBEANS 6, and it got soundly thrashed. =]

And Starcore V4 might have less bots, but I have so far spotted no errors with it at all, and the robots are considerably more challenging. Maelstrom, as I said, has twice the weaponry and far better protection, and it's pretty much the same right the way through the pack.

Nah, Vertigo wouldn't give it a look in.

Being kicked in the balls IS painful. Luckily, it hasn't happened to me for a while.

I find it funny though TBH, how weak they are, the guy who hit me was bout 18 i'm guessin, and he caught me pretty un awares in the eye, with a ring, and it barely hurt.
My body's made out of kinder eggs as well (infact in the bag were 3 kinder eggs), so i should have just gone down like a twig.
The future of this country is trully terrifying if the majority of the youth focus on fighting, and they can't even do it right

Then again, I have had 6 and a half beers, so that might have helped somehow XD

I don't drink, so that kinda rules me out. I'm also built like brazilian scaffolding, so I wouldn't last long in a fistfight.

It is a terrifying prospect that a significant proportion of the youth in this country are foregoing a half-decent education or employment in favour of drinking, violence and criminal activity. I think part of the problem is that they choose horrendous role models, such as Wayne Rooney. He might be alright at football, but he's been involved with several prostitutes, and has a horrendous moral standpoint. When he was at the World Cup and started going on about "loyal support", he just showed himself as a stuck-up, arrogant, egotistical dick. The amount of money he is paid, the amount of <expletive> that he is ALLOWED to get up to, and the fact that kids are going to grow up thinking this kind of <expletive> is alright. It's a <expletive>ing discrage.

Let us not forget that I am a chav

- Hoodie
- Headphones
- Intimidates old folk just by being nearby

But you do not speak through your nose. Or listen to drum & bass music incessantly. Or go around with a minimum of two other chavs at all times.

Well people, I just got ambushed by a gang of chavs, and punched in the face.
Bloody cowards as well, I had my dog's leash in one hand, and a shopping bag in the other, and they ran as soon as I swang at one of them!
Gotta love my neighborhood XD
That is how they work. They will ONLY play the numbers game, and will scarper as soon as it evens out. They're absolute cowards.

Sound REALLY scared, and try to explain that you've just survived an earthquake, and you need them to get help immediately.

I think it actually looks pretty good. If you can't get the spinner lower to the ground without it mucking up the steering, then I'd keep it like that. I still think the FS on the back would look a little better with shorter weapons, though.

Why thank you.

In other news, various malevolent individuals have been trying to grab my email account through a phishing scam. I did just as they asked and sent them my details:

Good one, GK. I had a similar thing happen yesterday with a call center asking to speak to "the homeowner". I said I was extremely angry at having to cut my shower short to answer the phone, and demanded they explain themselves immediately.

They hung up.
Me and my dad have a similar thing going at the moment, where we compete to see who can get the best reaction.
My dad's probably winning at the moment, from that time he pretended to be the police...

Hey, any time Verizon calls our house, I pick up the phone and load my dad's gun loud enough for them to hear.  ;)

I don't have a gun, I tend to find shouting works just as well.
For me, it's speaking in a low voice, and questioning motives. That scares 'em off.

Shout in german and pretend to be a WWII Recreation Society.

Or play them a thrash song. =] I think Blackened would do quite well.

I think that they are just dumb excuses to stick 18 weapons on MW. Though people claim it's original, it just seems as though they want to overload bots with weapons.

people were putting 18 weapons on mws way before the one wheeled stuff.

Sage managed it with his rebuild of Tornado, but it was lacking in defense a little bit.

Lol. I should try that at some stage. Or speak to them far too loudly.

If it were a relatively normal situation, then no, I wouldn't stretch myself to murder. But if, like Naryar, I find the pros outweigh the cons significantly, then I would probably be capable of killing someone. However, I don't agree on the necessity of a witty one-liner, it would just waste valuable seconds trying to get the timing correct. Screw honor and manners, and get it done quickly. It's murder, for crying out loud.

Looks fantastic. Very nice looking robot there. =] Maybe if the FS had smaller weapons, such as Shark/Hypno teeth or Small Beater Bars, that might look a bit better.
