If I wasn't doing BBEANS all the time, I was thinking about doing something similar, only it would be a "Classic Bots" tournament where you have to enter a classic-style bot (not necessarily an old one).
Basically it would be no glitches allowed, no stacking allowed, no AI parts or Snapper II's allowed, and if you use small wedges, your bot has to be a pure flipper with no damaging weapons.
Something for the distant future... Darn! I was about to do that this December. Oh well, gotta tweak the rules for now. XD

Someone's been playing WorldofGoo lately. Oh, and either trim it down to a LW or turn it into a MW. :D

I can be your partner, Ounce. I'm having trouble building a decent non-generic MW right now. XD

Very nice. But as of all components, the stuff from the Hall of Shame can still serve a purpose if they're well protected. :D
As of now, you may include the 30kg ram plate in the Hall of Shame. XD

Which is why you have to rebuild your chassis to make it better. I know this is annoying, this is the only way for your bot to have 4WD with burst wedges while having adequate power and deadly damage.

Really? I thought the motors should be a bit closer than that. Oh well, my eyes must be deceiving me again. :\
Anyway, what do you mean 'stability problem'? I have a 36HS (I think it's Volvox. I forgot) with a shorter wheelbase than yours and it's quite stable.

Which is why you need to have 2 supervolts. Try to stack the blacks (there's no how, you just do it XD) with a smaller chassis so you can have the weight for both 4WD and sufficient damage. Removing a DDT would help. :D

That's the rule of 7. You can't attach more than 7 components in a chain. That means you have to be more efficient in your setup.

Even better. You can make it even better if you have a trapezoidal chassis. :D

If you use JXLs, possibly.

Excellent. This time, replace the non-baseplate multi-extender and the T connector with just a alum/tite extender coming straight off the baseplate multi-extender instead. Try to see what you can do with the weight.

I <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 the SnS (and the FS too ofc). :D
Possible Jupiter replacement? :D
[Edit] Speaking of which, I gotta update my Jupiter remake. I already got tons of ideas to implement on it. XD

Actually, you can have 4WD and still retain your power. It just takes some setup manipulation and component scrapping. Like having a cleaner extender setup for your wedges, for example. :D

Those red extenders fit well with the theme. :D
Hmmm... couldn't figure out the drive setup...

Hmmm... include me for now. I might recycle one of my old bots for this one. :D

But don't follow Dark Matter's setup. The weapon motors are relatively exposed. XD
