Just saw Garvin's attempt to AI.  It reminded me of a scene from a comedy anime

"when was the last time you changed the strings?" [on the guitar]
"...you can change the strings?"

And that in turn reminds me of one of the funniest moments from Whose Line Is It Anyway, in a Moving People scene:

"MOVE YOUR HEAD!"
"My head? You mean my head moves?!"

That looks pretty good. Looks a bit like a Formula 1 car. (Put a rear spoiler on it. =D) Does it havok very much?

And the rules are being changes without notice or reason. Just like your old thread.

Depends on what he builds. I think he could go far. I would be surprised as heck if he won this, being his first ever tournament entry.

We are voting for the songs. And I'm sure our members are mature enough to vote in a reasonable manner.

The next time this runs, though, I really think we should switch back to the previous method of not revealing who submitted what song. It would prevent things like this flaring up.

Personally, I'd say that was realistic. You could have two motors driving the same shaft if they were rotating in opposite directions. Or is it something I'm missing?

Looks quite good, though. Reminds me of my Super Smash Bros. CAD bot a little bit. =]

I'm somewhat confident I can do well, depending on the draw. Geice should do well, given the level of building we've seen from him, but I think the usual suspects (Sage, Pwn, etc.) should do very well also.

Excellent build. Still two SnapperII's, I take it? If it was an axle, that'd be a hideous havok bomb.

Looks a lot better than your previous bots. I'd say the chassis could be lowered, you only need it five "clicks" high for Z-Teks to fit, and that should free up quite a bit of weight. Perhaps upgrading the drive to HPZ's would be good, or adding some protection for the motors.

There are spinners in the UK, but they're not allowed in Roaming Robots (I think) and some other tournaments. Robo Challenge does have spinners such as 360 or LS4, but I'm not certain of the regulations.

What you guys have against Hard bot? He is member just like us.
How about the fact that half the people who voted for Panic Attack wouldn't've voted for it if they knew it was HB's song of choice?

That's exactly why I thought it best to keep the members a secret. It was much better that way, since we didn't have this "I'm not voting for him because he's a noob" aspect of things. However, I don't think Hard Bot would have come forward and claimed his song if it wasn't doing as well as it is now.

Just keep everything as it is, I say, and let's not have any more arguments about it.

You probably won't, though. You'll need a huge amount of luck to beat MassimoV, and even then you'll probably get shoved off the FttF immediately.

Downloaded Inf AI today, and immediately built a MW version of Singularity.

397.6, DSA, 1 Plow. 6 Maces, 6 Irons, 6 Razors. Only a Nifty, though. And there's a fair bit of AGOD unless I use the Pause button. Oh well. =]

I like the use of DSL Disc as underside protection.

Biohazard isn't strictly a flipper, it's a 4-bar lifter.
