Ha ha, I love it.
Also, I just looked up a video on Flow:
Is it going to be like that in-game? If it's pretty much a real life havok explosion, I wonder what it's going to be like in-game...
aww yiss this is my kind of flipper how have i not seen this before

TBH I don't blame everyone for taking the mic out of my bot. It is truly crap compared to the others. Well judging from appearences.
That's what they said about Gaffel

There are only 5 matches left to go.

A quick demonstration of Dystopia in-game.
Ive been helping out trying to get the ground clearance, power and the way it physically behaves just right for Dystopia in game. Plus also i helped rework the initial wire frame to make it a near exact match to the real Dystopia.
Hopefully with HBs work this should combine to make the most realistic robot possible for the game, and hopefully you all enjoy it once its realised.
Note: Unfortunately the lighting in the arenas used is alittle dark. The final look can be seen in the preview and also in the screenshots HB has already released.
NICE also, if you dont mind me asking, how did you make it's flipper launch Tornado so high up with only just one inch of flipper movement?

Cambered wheel flipper looks nice, but yeah, you should work on your skinning techniques.
its a wedge It started off black and whiten it's gonna end up black and white
I'm talking about your robots in general, not just Venum
well, they're the best colors to work with. I can only use paint, and you can't just post transparent logos, they come in big boxes which are usually white or black, if i try to recolor it looks really weird.

i like the mw with CHAMBERRRRRED WHEEELS but the HW VS still looks dumb with the motor outside of the chassis. also you should try not just using white/grey/black all the time for paint jobs on your bots man.

That looks more like a 2012 DSL tier list than a 2014 DSL tier list.
And IRL definitely DO NOT need a tier list.
tier lists never work when there is a rock-paper-scissors effect going on
Actually you can have a tier list since some bot type clearly outclass others by a huge margin, and doesn't have an effective counter outside it's own tier.
123 has it right, ish.
RPS effect has no meaning when there are 50 other possible matchups and Rock beats 25 of them while Paper only beats 3.
The reason I linked the smash table was for that reason, a lot of mid to low tier fighters are counter-picks to larger ones. Same goes for pokemon.
perhaps the bot type that can beat the most bot types can be placed in the higher tiers while the bot types that can only do well against one or two other bot types could be classified as bad?

Not your best work but the first one is okay.
runnin low on ideas. plus, angled stuff in general is pretty hard to do. probably gonna work on a flipper again soon in the mean time... left is new, right is old: what's new-'leg' of the bot is moved further back, does not block opponents from getting into the disc -chassis is slightly thinner in width, slightly longer in length -does not contain a boatload of ants in it -two 'emergency' teeth on disc should hammers fall off too soon

very slow day for gtm huh two mw's practice with cambered wheels wedge is messy bleh angled spinner feels off. probably going to bring the motor closer to the chassis

How wide does that flipper open? I've never been able to make good flippers that only open a few centimetres like Toro.
Amen Also, TR2 looks downright awesome

I like the SnS. The double hammers at the back look odd but I like the rest of it.

thats sad to hear. however, i'm sure that the reps that are already being included more than make up for the robots that might nor make it.
