DP. The most work I've ever put into a paintjob on a bot ( about an hour and a half ), it was a real bugger to get the stripe to flow through the different surfaces:  Plastic 5, 7 ants, the rest you can see.

Piglets spin slower than mags, and all spin motors need 1 ant battery to power them for an entire match.
On Gradian you can make the chassis wider and upgrade the drive to mags if you have the weight, also that razor is seriously inhibiting the potential of your bot, if you remove it and raise the mags 1 notch you can make it invertible.
edit, you can also swap the snapper for a bsg which has the same power but is lighter.

Guys, those of you in the Skype group will already know this but I thought I might as well tell you guys as well. As of next year I am joining the RAF for a 6 year minimum service so I won't have much time at all for RA2 or GTM in general, I might drop in occasionally but not much.

You only need 6 ants for this and that should give the weight to upgrade to npc or npc fasts which should massively increase speed and pushing power.

I like it but the metal hinge ruins the look for me, try either moving it inside of the chassis or removing it altogether, that would make it look much better IMO.

Got the okay from Alan yesterday and all of the plastic for the ants arrived today as well as the M2 tap so I'll start contruction in the next few days when I'm feeling a bit better.

ordered about £100 of antweight stuff and the parts I ordered are going into this:  it's going to run off 50:1 pololu motors, aluminium wedge,12a botbitz esc's, 2mm hdpe base and 4mm hdpe sides and top. and I'm going to build a mini kronic using the same parts but with full 4mm hdpe armour and flipper arm.
