Team 4's Best Bot: Don't Let's Start Overall Best Bot: Toss Salad
I somehow dun get it, because they are both on the same team :P
I thought that was odd too. I'm not complaining, though :P
It's down to what matches they were in - DLS was effective in KOTH, but Toss Salad was imo better in it's fights. It's that narrow a decision.

The thing that has me most excited for this is the lovely hi-res textures on show. Yummy.

That'd be a funny challenge. Skin the same bot and find the superior painter :P

I prefer them over JXRs just because they can be used in tighter bots (although the collision is massive and prohibitive sometimes), and don't seem to have any major defecit in comparison to them.
I tend to find them most effective when the flipper is very short, hinders self-righting a little, but seems to get a stronger flip out of them.

Loophole. And a new bot, for some reason the military theme seems to suit bots quite well.

It's a little more bouncy than yours, but I think that's a side-effect of using the bigger servos. But it still moves well, although it's no surprise it has no traction against other bots.

Idea utterly, totally and shamelessly nicked from Thyrus, as I couldn't believe it moved that well. So natrually, I applied the walker rule, and made a 'heavyweight' version. 1195kg, but i may replace the hammer with a spinning disc.

Great replica, and a great bot too. (Only saying that because it came from my hometown of Sutton. And performed just as well as could be expected for something coming from here. >_>)

Knew it was gonna happen with those flat sides - no way to make it not do that and be realistic still. A little sad that I didn't get any sort of a flip in either. Well done to JD though.

I'll definately be requesting those categories to be added, as right now I feel very conspicious adding anything to the downloads and it just going into the same category as game downloads and AI packs.

Sorry to be pedantic, but i'm willing to help make replicas for this, but is there an actual list of what still needs to be made, without having to scan through all 23 pages?

I'd be willing to give that Hot Pants replica a re-skin, if you'd be willing S_R?
Sure, what did you have in mind? A metallic texture maybe?
I'd try and give it a 'photo' texture, similar to how I did my Raizer Blade skin. I'm not being harsh and saying "omg your skin is rubbish I shall do it much better", but I wanna help make that replica look the biz. And i'm doing good FOTEPX, started a new job hence my complete lack of worthwhile posting for months

Link removed, wrong version
Pack containing LW, MW and HW version of my Raizer Blade rep. Use any one you feel, but i'd suggest not using the LW unless you're willing to use cheatbot components on it - it's pretty lame.

Good lord, that splash is awesome.
JD looks to have built the winner, but if kill343GS can flip anything into his 'basket' then I say, nay, DEMAND he be given a trophy too.
