Schweet. What did you make the barrel and the head out of? I'd guess side panels, but that would take an age to get them all individually skinned. Unless it was that nuclear barrel component from Firebeetle's pack.

Welcome back, TDS. =) Great to see another older hand returning, but as Naryar said, building has moved on quite a lot. The Showcase section has plenty of examples of what's being done in Stock or DSL now.

Funny how Dantomkia and Spitfire are in this.
I'm pretty sure they weren't the same bot IRL...
I thought they were predominantly the same bot, just with a few tweaks to meet with the US regulations, and a new nationalist paintjob. Similar to Bigger Brother and Little Sister.

Can i use reskined components from NAR AI? (i think not, but i think it is balanced)
No, NAR AI only components are not allowed because most are unbalanced.

Looks mad. Not really liking the wheels sticking out of the chassis, though, and I'm not really sure what the extenders going backwards are for. Still look pretty crazy, though.

Very nicely built bot there. I'm slightly worried about the low battery power, I imagine it'll start going a bit slowly quite early on, that'll allow rammers, FS and the like to get in and do a number on it.

I really like the looks of Detonator. That's how IRL should be done.
Although I reckon we're going to see a combination of Blender, Thermidor or Chaos 2 in the final. Spike may surprise us, given how well Splinter performed. Second rumble's going to be a great one to watch, I reckon, could go any way.

Congratulations to Badnik. =) This seems to be turning into "how many weapons can you put on your bot". With the exception of Splinter. Looking forward to the next heat, though, I get my KOTH Semi-Final against some pretty tough opposition. I'm hoping to get some revenge on Thyrus, though.

Prett nice design. Are those the locking motors, though? The weapons'll just smack off the ground and break themselves if they're not. Why the razors on the underside and top, though?

I am LOVING the look of that FS. Looks very sturdily built and robust. Are those Perm 132's or 80's? I'm just wondering if a narrow opponent would be able to take them off before your weapons have a chance to get involved.

Nice to see this moving along. Albeit slowly. =P I'm quite disappointed that the least IRL bot won in that instance, I was really hoping to see more of Overlord in the tournament. At least we got to see the Srimech, though, that was cool.

Nicely done. How often do the Perms get taken off?

Use rubber wheels. If they glitch, simply remove the motors and reattach them. You should also rotate the weapon extenders by 90 degrees so all the weapons hit at the same time. Something else you could do is turn the wedge DDT's around, so you get the wedges further apart, making it easier to get underneath your opponents. Apart from stacking the blacks together and shrinking up the chassis slightly, there's not too much else I think you could do, apart from adding more weaponry. It'll be kinda generic, but very effective.

Very nice indeed. Couple of points, though, do the Beater Bars ever come into play at all, and does the short stance make it bounce on a rush?

Looks pretty cool. Do the spinners mess up the wedges at all?

Looking quite good, it's been built almost in the style of your RA2 bots. Hopefully it should do reasonably well, I wonder if wheelguards of some description would have been useful.

So the servo tilting it makes it turn? That's cool.
No, you can hear the Astros going, the drive makes it turn, same as normal. The torque of the disc makes the servo motor flex, that's why you can see it tilting when the robot turns.

Great concept, I reckon. I wonder if AI'ing the servo to rotate while the bot is turning would help the disc flexing like it does. I'm not a fan of the perm having no supports either, it looks too flimsy for my liking. Extender work seems alright, though, plus I like the casters at the front, that's a nice touch.
