Yep, it's a scrubby bot. Not the fault of the weapon count. Blame it instead on your crappy weapon placement. Move the piston backward and it should be much better.

3 tanks are necessary considering that it would take a while for the bot to deweapon HSes enough to take out the motors. As for the pinks, I originally had 2, but I shoved another one in anyway as I had nowhere else to spend 10kg on. I would space out the pistons more, but it would violate the rule of 7, and a pink still benefits the bot more than upgrading the wheels to rubbers.

As for Iceberg, the bot is exactly the same as Sage's version but with a rear chassis slope for stability. So now it stays upright when it fires most of the time.

AI pack? Probably not. RD folder? More likely. But that wouldn't happen soon anyway. :P

IN OTHER NEWS, SAGE IS A LAZY BUTT FOR NOT REBUILDING ICEBERG

Rear chassis slope pushed the weight up to 398 from 395.5 and I'm too lazy to push it up to 398.8 BUT AT LEAST I'M NOT AS LAZY AS SAGE

So yeah, I finally got to update ReStocked and around as I haven't had any homework (yet).

DSA, 3 pinks, and 3 tanks (which has one of the best sleep-deprived stacks I've ever had). Despite having a wider and farther reach than most (if not all) MW side hammers, it can't take on anything larger than Tornado which means it's completely helpless against SnSes and many wide-chassis bots.

But yeah, it has a decent chance against Tornado, so it's good enough for me.

The easiest solution for the tribar issue is to settle for a slightly larger pyramid (this would mean remodeling the tribar supports), and have the 3 APs floating a couple of units away from the vertices.

As for the concave issue, I guess breaking the component into 2 would improve point damage, but yeah that still sucks.

Oh, I thought it was DSL3. My bad.

But yeah, the drive can be attached to the same MEs that hold the stabilizers (attach them directly), then swap out the 20cm sheets and 40cm extenders for 20cm alu extenders and 40cm angled sheets.

The weight you're supposed to save with a smaller chassis is pretty much wasted on that crappy drive extender work and to a lesser extent, your stabilizers. You can redo the setup using 3 anchors only.

I have no idea. I don't know if there's even an old Bot204. o_O

It should be quite obvious what bot inspired this from the name (too lazy to skin it with his suit especially with the awkward chassis), although it was supposed to be a spinoff of Click's LW Mantis, especially when he stated that LW hammers suck in general.

...aaaaaaand he's right. Rear chassis element can't stabilize the bot consistently whenever it attempts a strike. 3 razors seem to do decent damage until the bot tips onto its side. It DOES self-right though, but it is very hit-and-miss. Overall, not bad for someone who hasn't built in months lol

Yeah, and don't expect any more bots soon. I'm gonna expect schoolwork to come in waves that would last for 5 months x_x

[Edit] I completely forgot that Barney never uses a melee weapon. Oh well.

For the side hammer, try moving the frontmost anchor off-center (requires a rebuild, sorry) so you could use 2 20cms rather than 2 20cms and a T connector. That setup would also mean that you can use the opposite AP of the Snapper2s, saving you more than 12kgs total. You could probably end up with 3 razors per arm with the freed weight.

...which is why you have to rebuild to maximize the potential.
If you keep insisting on using that setup, you'll go nowhere. You rely so much on the steel skirts and srimech, you're much much better off making it invertible instead. It's not that hard. Just make the front wheels larger and raise them a bit, then use smaller stabilizers on the edges rather than on the front.

That would get rid of some of the ugly extender work, and should make it a bit more unique as well.

Mobility is fine but you've wasted so much weight in it. An Astro is a bad motor for a Techno, and you've just used 4 of them. You're better off with 4WD NPCF (or 2 NPC and 2 NPCF) and you'll still have weight to spare for more weapons.

But yeah, I was just making a point. Best-case-scenario, your motors are adequate for your purpose. A bit worse off is when your motors are a tad too powerful but can be moderated. Worst case is when your motors are too weak even the AI can't do anything about it.

Then what's the point of having faster motors if it can't go as fast as it can?
What's the point of having slow motors if it can go faster? This is why it's commonly accepted to use a reasonably overpowered motor (something like a 6-Mag on a MW HS) for a certain weight class but it's a bad idea to use evidently slower ones like a piglet.

It's good to see that Nintendo will have competition this gen, that should make them eager to put out more games and cut prices etc.
I don't think it's competition, as Sony/MS and Nintendo have different target demographics. I'm sure there's more than a couple of people who want to buy both the WiiU and PS4, but it's often if not always either PS4 or XB1 (not like there's much of a choice anyway).

I would post GIFs of PS4 curbstomping the competition, but that would be beating the dead horse, and it gets tiring after a couple of hours.

The only thing holding me back is backwards compatibility. I would like it to be able to run GT5 and The Last of Us, assuming I have saved enough money for one.
