Hey All
 
As most of you know, i do that series on youtube, Wild Robots (for those of you who dont, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS!?)
Anyway, im sure most of you know what has been happening to me recently, so i havent been able to do much stuff Wild Robots related.
Now i've hit a bigger problem!
Whenever i go to click on an empty or already taken space in the select a bot screen to go into the botlab, my game crashes on me!
And everything else works, exhibition, tournaments ect.
One idea i did have was to try un-ai'ing some bots that i had recently Ai'ed, incase they had a fault with them, but nada.
Im really confused right now, i've even tired copying my components, AI, robot designs and teams folder to a blank game, but even that crashes!
If anyone does know of a cure that can help me, please do feel free to help :)

I would make an edit to the first post but it doesnt seem to let me...
Anyway, 32 doesnt go into the 3x table XD
So, the new number is...
27!
Hopefully i cen get 27 bots in, lol, as this tourny is hardly something orginal, infact, i was thinking of changing it to DSL LWs, but if you guys want it to stay the way it is, then thats ok, but if you would rather have it changed, then feel free to say so.

Hmm, well, suprisingly there seems to be quite a bit of interest in this tournament, so, i am upping the robot limit now to 32 robots.
The new deadline is 27th of Feburary, so plenty of time.
If i can get 32 then i will be extatic :)
Looking forward to all of your's entrys, and i will be back tommorow with an update on the prize.

Ohh yeah, Scraps in it, but i cant remeber which one you sent me. (What was it called again?)
So, with that, since i cant be bothered to redo the table, Pod F will now hold 4 bots rather than 3 (Bot A will fight Bots B,C & D, bot B will fight C & D and bot C will fight Bot D, so in all, 4 fights) so that i can get ashman 12 in (youre lucky! :P)

@S32: Sorry to upset you but maybe another time. (I will be hosting a realistic stock tournament soon, although that is for the people on another forum)

@R1885: Yeah, infact i have room for 2 more i think  :confused:
@Redline: You can still enter if you want, get in quick thou.
ATM im just trying to get the AI's the dont work...to work, so that i dont have a much bigger job if i get more entrys.
There is no deadline now apart from the first 2 people to get thier bot in.

Thanks all for your condolences, it was just a shame that i've never had to face a death before and then when i do it's someone very close to me :(
But im sure things will sort themselves out soon.
Having a few problems with a couple of the AI's, but once Mad or someone is around i will ask for help then.
Quite a lot of good robots, mainly Pop-Ups and Spinners, but what do you expect really? :P
Hopefully i can get this done soon, and hopefully i can have a bit more time AI'ing the bots tommorow, as its snowing heaviliy down here, so i may get a day off of school (although i have had to go in before when it was 10inches thick, so yeah)

Hey Guys, sorry i havent been able to update on this for some time, but my granddad recently passed away and i've just been generally busy, so yeah sorry about the lack of progress, but you'll be glad to know that:
All of you had better get your bots in now, as i am setting a deadline for:
Friday 8th Jan at 7pm (my time, dunno what it is else where)
I'd like to get all bots in asap, so that i can get this tournement over and done with.
I now have an idea for a prize, which i will be posting soon.
I'm sure that most of you know the arena by now.
So i hope to get the tournament done soon, i know have 14 robots, and the limit now is 18, so be quick!
And i have made some changes to the tournement style.
Here is the new table:

How it will work:
The 18 robots will be split into 6 pods of 3, and a pod will work like so:
Bot A will face Bot B, then Bot A will face Bot C, and finally Bot B will face Bot C, so that all the robots in that pod face each other once.
The winner will be the one who has the most wins, but if all robots have 1 win each, the winner will be randomlly chosen using The Hat (whoever comes first goes on)
The 2nd place bots from each pod will go into a small little 2nd Place Pod tourny, with the 6 2nd place bots being randomly drawn into 3 head to head battles, the 3 winners going into a 3 way mellee, the winner moving on.
Then, the 6 pod winners face off in 6 head to head fights, 3 going on.
2 pod winners will fight each other, while the 3rd will place a 2nd place winner.
The 2 winners will then fight each other in a best of 3 fight to declare the winner!
Hope this all makes sence, and dont forget to get your robots in soon!

Hey All
As most of you know, im working on my first replica AI pack, and im hoping to launch an exclusive preview on the 22nd this month...
But i was just wondering, i am using the DSL 2.1 Mod as a base, but im using 3 robot per team.
Is there any way of setting the 6 robot AI veiw back to 3?
I have set the teams and bindings files to have 3 robots in, but the AI menus still show the original 6 robot slots.
Any help?

I finally made the motor, it is a bit big, but i like it :) (so i should, my first motor!)
I'll post pics soon. (i've already made a few robots with my new components, so i'll showcase some of them aswell)

@ACAMS-Its not THAT small, its made from a redbird, and is based on a Solarbotics Gear Motor:

(Solarbotics GM11a 56:1 Mini Metal Gear Motor, same one that i use in my AW Little Patience)
Dunno why i am making it, i just fancied a challenge, since the only thing that i've been modding are ram plates and small wedges, i thought i'd have a go at a motor.

Hey All
I've been working on a new AW motor, but alas i've hit a brick wall.
Whenever i place the motor on the base of the chassis (not even attaching it, im still able to move it around) the axle flies around (like the dsl hinge after attaching 1 or 2 of them)
I've tried going to testing area to botlab, but it still happens (even when i go from test to botlab, it flies off straight away.)
Can anyone help me please, as this motor is all going towards a mini component pack im working on.

Sorry guys that i havent been able to get back to you, on holiday again and i've been stuck without internet connection, but finally i have one, so i can view whats going on, but i'll be continuing with all the clarifying ect. on saturday when i come back home.
Then i will also be starting with the AI'ing.
So far, just 1 idea for a prize, but its now much, so the search continues.
