Maybe .... probably, because nVidia has messed up this game in the past so bad that I now use ATI. The 1.3 patch is supposed to fix older nVidia problems but may not work with your new card.

Go to C:\Program Files\Infogrames\Robot Arena 2 DSL (or where ever you crashing game is) and open ra2.cfg with notepad and set to your screen resolution...

This month will be DSL MWRULES: - AI parts that have to be text edited to show ARE NOT allowed, all that show are allowed
- cheatbot2 is NOT allowed
- Custom parts ARE NOT allowed
- Realistic rule DOES NOT APPLY
- Show the weight in your splash
- Normal building with all glitches allowed (no AAM, BFE or HAX mode type stuff)
- Make a splash and upload it using the uploader
- You MUST include a shot of the insides
- Entries can be no wider than 700px and no taller than 800px
- Entries can be any image type NO LARGER than 1.0 MB (1024KB or less)
- Entries need to be in by Wednesday 3/28/12 12:00 midnight Central time

In DoD my bot moved faster than quite a lot of the HSs out there, and had more weight dedicated to weaponry, win win situation.
I didn't see any one wheeled entries this time ...... you should have entered! I'm a little bummed out that I couldn't participate this month but thats fine because we have a few good ones. I ended up voting for 7 but 3 was a close runner up.
#3 gets my vote!

Over a series of matches, my 1WD HSs would win more than those fragile things.
I made one of the first one wheeled bots made in RA2 and I know what they do, but in an AI tournament they don't work as well as they do when you drive it.
