JD: sadly there are just people who get kicks out of doing stuff like this and this doesn't seem beyond something Noodle would do considering his past behaviour.
Aye. "Some men just want to watch the World burn" comes to mind with him.

So, when i was online, i saw this peculiar opponent...
(Image removed from quote.)
There was also this opponent with the same chassis, they both kicked my butt, though.
This MAY be a new chassis, IMO.
That's the Bite Chassis- it's always been there, as the one in the green crate.

*sees avatar* someone's looking forward to The Smiler?
You're right there, Craig- I'm very much looking forward to it.   :approve:

The Executioner S5.  It uses Wham's custom crusher motor that goes about 90 degrees.

Especially with regards to the piston work and the paintjob, that looks fantastic, Sonny! My only concern is that it looks a little bit small, but other than that, it's truly excellent.    :claping

As for sounds, anything would be appreciated. No guatentee on what could be used, but might aswell have more of what I need than not enough :P
Maybe I can help with that. My personal two choices for background music (I've seen it be used for Arenas in the past, so I'm quite sure that it'll be possible to implement) would be one of these two pieces-

This one was used for the TV Studio Arena in the PC/Xbox version of Extreme Destruction.

This one was used as the fight music for Series 1-4 of Robot Wars itself, and also as one of two themes for the TV Studio Arena in the PC version of Arenas of Destruction.

Come to think of it, it might be a good idea to use both, but have them alternate for each fight you have in the Arena- much like in Arenas of Destruction. Would that be possible? If not, don't worry.

There is none of that here. There is no relatable measuring at all. Only size.
Indeed. If this is anything to go by, bigger doesn't necessarily mean better. Heck, if you were to enter a proper fighting robot into this, something like Brutality or Last Rites, they could probably beat all the glorified wind-up toys at once.

Those look pretty awesome, Rob- particularly now that they've got the paint on. I'd maybe recommend a smaller axe head for the second version of Xterminator, but other than that, they're pretty much spot on.

Can you elevate the arena about a metre up from the floor?  The OOTA-zone floor was actually level with the bottom of the Pit.
Actually Sonny, I believe the Pit was very slightly shallower than the OOTA Zone floor- they would've needed some more space in the bottom to accomodate the lowering/raising mechanism.

Is it possible to have the pit lower slower like IRL?
It should be- if the Deathpit covers on The Octagon can be made to retract slowly, I don't see why they can't.

Hey GF, I haven't seen you post in ages!
Hey man, good to see you too. I do still come on every now and again, but I've been spending more of my time with College and ARC, these days- that's why I haven't been posting as much.

With this and Battlebots 6 on the horizon though, I think it'll be good to hang around again for a while.   :approve:

I remeber I played this game once.  The connection was sh*te, so I could barely get the robot to move, and most of the time I lost communications before the match could begin.
Yes, that was the absolutely terrible old version. This one we're playing however, is completely new- and it's actually not too bad!   :dumb)

I'm curious to see a Level 5 Flamethrower. I just realized that I never saw one. Looking forward to see one of you guys with it.
That's what I'm going for next- I'll be saving up my Golden Thingies, and as soon as I have it, I'll upload a picture.

The way the game finds an opponent puzzles me. It seems random. There's no rank hierarchy. I had many guest players against Passive beast. If I was their first battle they would most likely give up straight away, lol.
I don't complain much but newcomers certainly will.
Same here- sometimes I've had guests, at others I've had cowards with Red Rockets.

If one day i have to fight you i will run away and suicide myself
Stand and fight like a man, you wimp!

But seriously, that looks like a very potent design- hopefully if I do come head-to-head, my driving skills (Not to mention my Napalm and Heavy Ordnance) should help me.

Wait, so you were that swine who dropped me off the side of the building?! Damn you!

In all seriousness though, yes it was. Interesting to see you did the same thing I do against the guests, though- drive straight at them, goad them into thinking "Lel he's driving at me, easy kill" so that they waste all their Pea Shooter ammo at once on an ineffective attack, ultimately leading them into panicking as the inevitable (Grappling them and dropping them into the Hazards in your case, barbequing them alive with the Flamethrower for me) occurs.

Panic is always an effective weapon in such a case.    :dumb)

Nice combo, though I'm not a big fan of the flamethrower myself. I had it level 4 too with Bite chassis. It wasn't that interesting :ermm:

You should pay those 45239 credits for more traction. Opponents will have a harder time pushing you. It will make you less vulnerable to Sonic Boom
Maybe it's a matter of preference- I'm rather a fan of getting up close and personal with my opponents, watching them squirm before I incinerate them.   :dumb)

But yes, that's what I'm saving up for now. I'm saving up the Golden thingies for my remaining upgrades, and I'll use the money to buy the Traction improvements when I can afford them.

Also, after a nice long session of torching about 4,222 weaklings alive, Colonel Kickass is back with some new improvements-

It's now faster, and has better weaponry, in the form of-

LV5 Sledgehammer on the Front. Heavy, good for smash stuff.
LV4 Flamethrower on the Top. Hot, good for burn stuff.
LV4 Fender Bombs on the Back. Highly Ka-Boomable, good for explode stuff.
LV5 Air Strike targetted around it. Tactical, good for bomb stuff.

Currently, I'm saving up the tickets to improve the Armour and the Flamethrower, but once it's finished, it'll be heavily-armoured, very powerful, and very dangerous- basically, well-suited for kicking ass. Thoughts?

Duuuuude.... I made a monster! I call It "Passive Beast"

(Image removed from quote.)

Level 4 Sonic Boom
Level 5 Claw
Level 1 Fender Bombs
Level 3 Defensive saw

It's kind of tricky to use it but once you get the hang of it its hilarious. I have two choices: I grab the guy and just drop it or I grab the guy, point him to the nothingness and then Sonic Boom! Thanks to me their bots learn to fly. For weaker guys I torture them and hold them over fire or electric fences XD
Looks awesome- at least it's not one of those anymore. It should definitely be a good design for trolling the Guests.    :claping

My bot is called Bob.
Good to see you've also gone with a Flamethrower- if you can upgrade the Pincers to their maximum potential as well, it should be quite a mean pusher.

EDIT: Which Defensive Weapon does it use?
