JB and S32, I <3 both of you. XD And the music makes me laugh out loud. Not my type, yet still funny as . XD

Here are some examples: Here's Hazardous Contraption. This is Nary's old bot and it won BBEANS 4. As you can see here, HazCon uses 2 skirt hinges. One for getting under a bot, and another for feeding the bot into the weapons. And this is BatmobileAI. Not the best of its type, but I didn't have enough time to look for better examples. These are probably the easiest wedges you could use. Although heavy, they are almost on par with snapper wedges. Just attach, attach, and there you go. :D

Titanium is the best armor choice, but putting on 10mm is excessive. Maybe 5mm or 3mm would be nice (putting on external armor is better).
For skirts, just attach the hinges directly to the chassis. The lower the wedge, the better. Then attach sheets to the skirts. If they won't attach, rotate them a bit. Metal hinges are a bit heavier, but they always get the job done. Simply attach it to the chassis and attach a sheet to it. No need for additional tweaks. Skirts and snapper wedges need some careful tweaking to get them to work. :D

Mower blades are somewhat below average. Don't use them. And don't use a weapon as a rear stabilizer. A sheet or a half-sheet stuck outside your underside would be better. Add wedges to the front as they help a lot in the HW class. You could use skirt hinges or metal hinges. But good job on the chassis height and space management.
As for the weapon however, it's totally your choice. You could have a circular shell plate with weapons on it.
Oh, and don't forget to post your armor. We could also help you with that. :D

Make the wedge shallower. And if you try to stack one of the batts, you can have 4WD lined up at the back (the inner 2 need have the wheels loaded out first). And yeah, get SCv3/4. You definitely need a challenge when fighting bots. That's how you get better.

Sweet vid. Now I just realized that Trojan Horse can actually rupt in the bot lab (2 of the DDTs are on a Snapper2). But I don't know why it can't do it during matches, though. :O

I got a fail VS almost done. I'll showcase it when I apply finishing tweaks (just to make it look cooler). But I won't be entering that one. XD

Hypnos WILL touch the ground when the drive is attached straight to the baseplate. Don't believe most things your eyes see when you're playing RA2. Flaws are always present in any game. XD Also, the weapon is still too high. Put the motor straight to the baseplate and you won't need those weak extenders anymore. And you can make put your weapon motor lower by having your drive stick out like this: As you can see, the bulk of the motor is outside the chassis, yet it still allowed me to attach the motors directly to the baseplate. And yep, it's as fast as . Try making the chassis bigger, but shorter. A wide stance always helps with bots that have serious kinetic energy on the weapons. :D

Those extenders holding the sledges are quite brittle. It would be better if your motor is attached straight to the baseplate. If the tribar intersects the wheels, (which most likely will happen) use Hypnos instead. They might be a tad heavier, but your bot will be more controllable with those on. Did you know that the NPC motors have an uncanny way of being able to be placed halfway outside the chassis? That helps a lot for extreme space management. Just lower the chassis and place the batteries where the drive used to be. :D

Is the bot using Impulse 4's setup? If you could angle the drive extenders, it could be invertible without using grannies. And yeah, maces would be better but it would look cooler if the innermost weapon in the extender would be an iron so it would have a better reach. :D

I usually squeeze my blue CB in between NPCFs anyway, not like you can put anything else there. XD

As stated, long batts suck. Use 2-3 battlepacks or 7 ants and you'll be fine. And you don't need rear weapons as you're using a rammer, which concentrates all of its weapons at the front. You can use the extra weight on better wheels (Technos). :D

You know, you could just make the chassis a bit longer instead of using two MEs to attach the drive. :D

This time, AI it and see if it can beat those same bots. You can learn to AI and think of how to improve it at the same time! XD

He probably wanted to make a LW version of Leech (his HS, not my juggler). XD
Fight it online vs Inf! *steals popcorn*

I gotta agree with Inf on this one. Typing properly doesn't eat up that much time anyway. :P
Anyway, I think your bot is a bit underpowered. You can find the adequate amount of batteries you should have by checking the descriptions of the motors and the batteries. The power supplied should be more or less the power used.
Also, you don't need to clone bots from other showcases. Just build whatever those bots inspired you with. :D

Hmmm... make the chassis lower. Use Mag snappers instead for the height.
Also, by building to the weight limit, we don't mean that you should use ballasts to fill up the space. There are tons of ways to use the extra weight for: more wedges, more batteries, better wheels.

Maybe he just has a bot named after that? Dunno. O_o And another joke. BUUUURRRN!!!!!!!!

Realism just means that if you can build the same bot in real life, it's realistic. But if components intersect, it starts to get a bit complicated:
If anything passes through motors, batteries and other supporting components, it's unrealistic. But if a component passes through the chassis, it's fine.
If weapons intersect, take note of the welding concept. If the weapons can be welded together and don't interfere with the other components, then it can be considered realistic.
So currently, your DSL bars are passing through the motors. Fix the weapon arc and it's fine. However, we would want you to make it invertible (while using wheels of the same diameter) and use ants or battlepacks instead of the odysseys. And a simple rectangular chassis always helps
Hope this helps. :D
