England winning the World Cup in 1966- "They think it's all over- it is now!"

Sparkey sent you (GF93) a present via me.
Ah, very nice of him.

You don't want to know
Just saw it, and replied accordingly.

Exactly a year until the Queen's Diamond Jubilee- once that happens, she'll be the second British Monarch in history to have had one.
I can only wish her luck and hope she doesn't cark it before then
Indeed. I'm quite sure she'll make it, though- she's in remarkable good health and optimism for her age.
If she does make it, we'll get a four-day weekend, apparently. :gawe:
Indeed- so even if you aren't too concerned about the Royalty, you still get a Four-day Weekend relating to it   :approve:

I just wanted to see the results.
A pox on you!   :laughing

Arrow keys to move

Space for primary fire
Z for secondary fire
X for tertiary fire
H for switch
Another thing you and I have in common
I do it like that 'cause I'm a lefty, so Z and X don't require much effort. H is in the middle of the keyboard, so is easy to mash, and arrow keys... they're just PERFECT for being directions :3
Nice explanation there  :approve:

Even though I'm right-handed, I do it because I'm quite used to using the Arrows and the Space Bar for most gaming applications, and I use Z and X as secondary buttons because they're above the Space Bar, and therefore quite easy to reach with my index and middle fingers.

I guess, but I was mostly looking for ones in media.
Don't worry, those can be provided, too.

Also, not to be self-serving, but I think my original one was my run in Replica Wars Series 1-
Third Place, flipping Joeblo and Craaig out of the arena and surviving to a judge's decision against Mike en route, and topping it all off with the "Coolest Robot" award.

Might not sound too impressive, but this was only the first tournament I'd ever entered, so I think it does deserve a little mention here   :approve:

If they are, I'd nominate Cube From The West defeating COID in Clash Cubes II. =D
Definitely- I remember watching that one when it came out. You should have seen LRA2's reaction afterwards  XD

Ah, these are great- I've heard of them from TV Tropes. Are GTM examples allowed?

Here is my unmodified DSL entry (made using extenders and Ti sheets)

Looks like the Texan Tyrant's got this one in the bag before it's begun   :claping

RA2, by far. VERRRRY far. The biggest gap between two things ever.
Unless of course you count Jonzu and his chances of getting laid  :trollface

Or my girlfriend's legs when we get together. :gawe:

And oh dear me, what a ludicrously predictable outcome.
Good one  :D

And yes, 'twas something of a predictable outcome. Was expecting the ._. as well, but still.

I'd rather vote for an excellent replica of a mini than a pathetic atempt at a ferrari replica easily.
Score one for British Engineering   :approve:

Robot Arena 2, most certainly. I mean, how could you even assume that hyperactive pink ponies, cuddling bunnies and cockatrice-repelling stares can even compete against metal-shredding robot smashup?   :approve:

Unless of course you're MNB, in which case it's alright
