If you swapped the top irons for maces, would that help at all? Also, you could try using casters on the front edges of the chassis to eat up some of the extra weight you have.

That looks like a pretty good setup. I forgot the Snapper2's had a back AP. It would definitely suffer from Bounty Hunter Syndrome, though, but you did a great job with it nonetheless.

Doesn't look too bad. I'd try mounting the RAD's on the opposite end to get a wider trapping area. I'm guessing that's why it has that motor setup.

I also think you could stand to Stack the anchors into the Blackvolt (I've seen that done before a couple times), and get a little more weight to play with.
Stacking the anchors into the battery saves about 3kgs... Though it may make it invertible o.O
I think it should do. I think you could get away with the chassis being as low as possible without the glitch, if you could stack them into it. I think you could get away with widening the chassis enough to get the baseplates in without stacking them, maybe you'll have the weight for that.

I imagine it's the extender work giving SM's machine problems. It would work if the chassis was lower down, but then that would defeat the purpose of the bot.

You CANNOT allow someone to judge and enter, not that I don't trust GK and SKBT, but it is just asking for trouble
That's pretty much the road I was going down. I would have no problem with them being judges if they entered, but there's bound to be someone who would.

I completely agree with you, freeziez, I think GK and SKBT will call the matches as fairly and impartially as possible.
I do have a prototype, but it required quite a lot of axle loading.

There is the question of impartiality. If there's a particularly close match, and the Judge's Decision puts the judge's robot through, then I think some people might see that as bias.
Do you honestly see SKBT or I not being impartial?
Personally, I don't, but I do think there are members on this board who would.
