« on: August 18, 2012, 02:05:43 PM »Too me, 1 was the best. I preffered 3 over 2 but I just couldnt get into 4 that much. There has just been way to many characters. Why didnt the snow monkey gut Sid instantly? There was no tension cause you knew that the franchise had become too family oriented so there wasnt going to be any deaths or injuries of a good guy. Also Peaches social life was really dull. I didnt really like the little runt molerat guy. I thought he was week and I didnt understand where any of his family was. The two other rodent things (Crash and Braindamage or whatever) were as painfully stupid just like in the last two movies. One more thing, where did all the mamoths come from!?!?!? In movie number 2, Manny could barely find one other. Now they have these little roller skate clubs for the whole species. I also hate the voice actors. Drake, Nicki Minaj, J Lo, I hate all 3. Those are just my thoughts on the movie. I don't dislike kids movies or Ice Age, I just thought this one didnt live up to the other worldly experience of first one.I disagree. The Ice Age 4 was the best movie of them so far. Ice Age 1 was hilarious, Ice Age 2 was meh, and I'm betting the two others are relying on overused jokes and tropes to try and make us laugh. Hell I wonder if Scrat is still funny.
The franchise is dead, and they're just milking an elder, dying cow to make money.
In Ice Age 3, Buck was just badass..
