I voted Robotica for teh lulz.
"And he's fallen into THE SPIKES!"

let me just go backstage. I´ll team up with NFX :P

(so we would have a RW: did you know that... :P )
Heh, you do that...once I've teamed up with Vertigo however, nothing will save you once the two best flippers in RW3 are on your case   :gunz:

6007
ha! :D
this will be my first tournament win!

(Is Kronic british? If so all the finalists [if it comes to Delldog|Corkscrew II|Kronic|Explosion] will be build by people from the robots country :P)
Your first tournament win? Not if I have something to say about it- if I can clinch it, my second tournament title shall be mine!   :approve:

(And yes, Kronic is indeed British, hailing from Beer, a town in Devon)

6008
I just don`t want to meet Warrior in the final. With NFX on my side we could do some damage to it but the shell is protecting it quite well I guess. Kronic has no external armor so CSII will do major damage to you but then Kronic will flip it OOTA. Then Delldog comes in and finishes you off.
who will take the last spot btw?
Not so sure about the "Major Damage" part- remember that Kronic's front and sides are sloped, so spinner hits will probably only inflict glancing blows there.
Even still, that's 5mm Titanium armour on Kronic, so it'll take a little while to cause any concernable damage, particularly with only 5 Beater Bars, by which time Kronic will most likely be doing "The Highland Fling" on Corkscrew Two.

Which then leaves DellDog- provided it spins, it could in theory do some nasty damage if it hits the flat back plate. However, Kronic can turn on the spot quickly, so I think with a little luck, Delldog will suffer the same fate as Corkscrew.

But the final slot? For that, my money's on Explosion. Not sure about its wedge quality, but I do know that those flippers are powerful- if he gets under me, it'll be curtains. Unless of course I go for one of the spinners first, let the other one wear down Explosion, before getting round the side to hopefully toss it away.

So yes, hopefully it'll all work out. This is one tournament that I definitely plan on winning   :gawe:

6009
oh you have to fight warrior?...

go Kronic!
Thanks for the encouragement, Thy. Although Warrior is indeed a good design, it lacks protection against wedges around the back. Therefore, if I can get it from behind as it's attacking another opponent, I might be able to get under it and flip it out of the Arena, before repeating with the others.

A cradboard Thermidor 2.  I broke one of its claws right after I was done taking pictures :/

:heart_smiley:
Shame about the claw though.

Ah, don't worry about that - as it turns out I only tore off one of the black triangle things, so it was easy to glue back together - good as new.
Good to hear that it's fixed, then. If it's not a problem, would a Cassius II model be possible next?  :D

35) Save someone's life
You've done that one already, boss :approve:
I have?  :D

44) Be an extra in a film

Good one.
Thanks- by doing that, you can actually become quite well-known in the film world if you end up stealing the scene. You know, like the Stormtrooper hitting his head in Star Wars: A New Hope, or the guy wearing Jeans in Gladiator.

Are you going to intentionally do something wrong, then? I can't imagine that'd go down well with the director.
In a subtle way, that'll get me noticed on the scene so that I can point myself out to people. You know, like dying in an overdramatic way or something.

I did like Mute. I like small and compact robots, rather than large flimsy ones.

One robot I didn't like was Haardvark. I've got no idea why, I just didn't like it.
So one of the appeals behind Chaos 2, then?  :P

And also, I wonder why that could be? My guess is something to do with it eliminating Plunderbird 2 in the Gauntlet.

I think that was it. Plunderbird 2 was awesome, and it should have gotten at least into the Arena.
Indeed- you didn't see Haardvark taking out two house robots in under thirty seconds, did you? Unless of course you count Dead Metal driving off the podium after it in the Sumo, but still  :P

I have it too. Still gotta find that disc. :P

Which reminds me...now that we have Shish Kabot, will Vladiator be removed, or will it stay?
Vladiator will stay; it will be the SHW on a team with Shish-Kabot, a poky MW I haven't decided on yet, and Vlad the Impaler.
Ah, that's OK then. A much bigger Vladiator would look great in the arena, slamming lighter opponents around like a pinball on steriods   :gawe:

Got sidetracked by a bunch of other stuff.  It's been like 90% done for several months.  Honestly though it looks exactly the same as the old Firestorm, it's just a full HW now and is more powerful to match.
Ah, that sounds good. Although, is the back raised with the wheels exposed around the back like the real robot now? That rounded back on the old replica always annoyed me for some reason.

Oh,goddamn TAN.I think he MAY still compete,in the Roaming robots.
Oh,and i hate, hate hate HATE Mute.It used FAR too much gas,SHOWED OFF,and came second place in the new blood championship VIA LUCK.
Cedric Slammer slammed on the flywheel, and sent sparks FLYING.
It does compete now and then from what I can see. But mind you, it did provide this little gem against Turbulence in the 2006 UK Championships-

But personally, I don't see anything wrong with Mute. Sure its flipper wasn't designed as well as it could be, but I thought it was a pretty cool design.

That's brilliant, Sonny! You're getting really good at these IRL reps.
