I find it odd how much I listen to this, considering just how long the song it. Makes the morning pass very quickly as well. Plus I have had The Eve of War playing in my head pretty much all of the time.

I detested most of the sports, football and Rugby especially...rugby was only amusing in primary school, year six, when I was just standing around, doing as little as possible, the ball went rather high in the air, hit me on the top of the head (didn't hurt) and landed in a team mate's hand. He then proceeded to score.

One of the funniest things I saw was my teacher throw a cricket ball, the batter hit it, and it whacked the tutor straight in the nuts. It was absolutely brilliant...the same batter then got a cricket ball to the nuts when the teacher 'accidentally' threw it too hard (I really don't believe it was an accident, but it was amusing either way).

I lose as much stamina by sprinting as I do by attempting long distance, so I would've probably done better in the faster parts if it actually started in the faster parts rather than at a pace that you could walk it.

I didn't even pass the first round

I assume you just couldn't be arsed. In all honesty, I can't blame you, the beep test was really just a pile of sh**. As was most of PE. The most amusing highlight was football (oddly enough for me). I was being a defender, and just stood there doing nothing. I got ranted at, then one of the opponents came rather close with the ball. I sprinted at him, got the ball, and booted it up the field to one of our people up there, who proceeded to score. That stopped the insults for all of five seconds, but oh well, it's probably the most constructive thing I did in PE other than get accused of being anorexic (this was before they saw what I was going to eat for lunch), and scare people with just how white and numb my hands went in the cold.

God, I hate Pyros. Spies are the way to go in that game.
Nein. Spies are the cheapest class in the game- if there's any class I enjoy murdering the most, it's those bloody backstabbing cowards.
Disagreed, it is the art of deception, skill and mental agility. Running up to someone, flamethrower in hand, and getting your face blown off isn't fun.
And cheapness- I wish they'd actually try fighting rather than mincing up to people and one-shotting them, or running away.

With regards to the bit on Pyros though, there's far, far more to it than that. There's a good learning curve to using Pyro, but it's a far more rewarding class once you get the hang of certain manouvers, like using the compression blast (Right-click) to send projectiles back to opponents and minesweep Stickybomb traps, circlestrafing to avoid enemy fire and get behind opponents, utilising the art of ambushing to wreak havoc, and whipping out the Axtinguisher to finish almost anyone in a single blow.

With a little practise, any Pyro can become an awesome close-to-mid-range assassin. If you like, I'll give you a little tutoring.
Have fun against those snipers you can't really compete with at a range, scouts who beat you at mid range combat due to greater agility, medics which heal themselves with Bluetsaugers while you lose health rapidly, spies who Ambassador you at a distance, engineers in general, heavys filling you with holes before you can reach them, Soldiers who actually know how to play the game (rocket jumping to get out of your visual range before Direct Hitting you, ect.

Even against demomen the Pyro isn't great because if you spend time reflecting shots they'll probably just quickly charge you and kill you very quickly.

Seriously, Pyros are just too ineffecient and case-sensitive to be effective.

In all fairness, it depends on the class you are best as, you will eventually learn how to deal with situations like that if you play a class for long enough.

The entirety of Shinobi

You haven't actually played Shinobi (3DS version) and you assume that difficulty is relative to the rage it generates. It rarely annoyed me...apart from the jungle stage (damn helicopter sections) and the last stage (precise platforming, the part where you need to jump once (perfectly to land between spikes), wall jump, double jump back on yourself, wall jump again (avoiding the spikes), and grappling (I only managed it because of the lightning)...oh yeah, and the last boss having three stages was rather irksome, but the game itself was immensely fun. As for original Shinobi (the arcade version, and I think it was re-released on the SNES too), I haven't played it, but one life and one continue otherwise back to the beginning of the game, that sounds difficult and extremely annoying, the 3DS version really wasn't...I need to try the original at some point.

Etrian Odyssey, when you realise that that the reason you can't find your way is because you made a mistake on the map...also when you are returning from a very successful trip, only to be killed at the last moment.

There was also that moment in Just Cause 2 where somebody had glitched into a building and could still shoot at me, but I couldn't kill him (and his bullets did a heck of a lot of damage in comparison to other people). I couldn't even grapple him out of the building.

Movespammers on pretty much any fighting game. Sure, I should have the skill to beat it, maybe that's what's so infuriating, that I keep making the same mistakes.

Also, Fire Emblem when you come extremely close to victory and then a character dies (this only applies if you are like me and try to get through the game without losing any characters (i.e. reset if a character dies)).

And with pretty much any game, coming extremely close to success, only to fail at the last second/miss the target by a tiny amount.

And when I was younger, the mission where you had to follow that guy without being seen on Spyro (where you had to hide behind the trees), that was hateful, I just could not do it at all...then again, I was rather young...I need to get the first three Spyros again...and the first three Crash Bandicoots...and Crash Bash...and Crash Team Racing.

Shao Kahn from chapter 16 of Mortal Kombat for the Xbox 360. I couldn't beat him on medium, I couldn't beat him on easy. I could only beat him on beginner because I spammed him. The annoying things are that all of my moves do half damage, his moves are quite insanely powerful (his X-ray move will immediately remove 52% of your health), and most of his moves have hyper armour (essentially taking no damage, no knockback, and continuing with the move he was doing). The fact that I had to spam annoyed me so much that I punched my controller and broke the right stick. My own lack of skill in being able to successfully do Vega's ultras with any consistency (or under pressure) led me to throw my other controller at the wall, breaking the left analogue stick.

Oh yeah, and pretty much any escort mission ever. An exception to this is the one from Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer (or maybe it was Year of the Dragon that had the escort mission) where you had to lead the scientist that had the bomb and you had to crush the obstacles  before he reached them. If you failed, he would say 'Ow, I went boom...again' which was just more amusing than anything else.

Under the Sun - Korpiklaani
a Finnish band? Interesting.

Yeah, I think I have a couple of Finnish bands on my playlist (Finntroll, Korpiklaani, Apocalyptica (if I remember correctly, they are also from Helsinki) and one other, if I remember correctly...I think it was Wintersun, actually, also coming from Helsinki, if I remember rightly, they also come from Helsinki, like Apocalyptica and Finntroll). I really do love my friend (in a non-sexual way) for introducing me to these bands, along with many others.

Since I made a post, I may as well do the next 8 songs

1.)The first song is the overall theme song for the apocalypse.
Turning Circles - Judas Priest
Not too bad for a song that will be playing all the time...yeah, I would be happy with this playing in the background

2.)The second song is the one that plays during your first zombie kill.
Volcano - Dethklok
Maybe, maybe not, depends on if I burn it to death

3.)The third song is the song that plays while you're getting chased by the horde.
Villains - Full Blown Chaos
Meh, doesn't really work for a chase...actually, the pace picked up, it could work if it were a particularly fast chase scene

4.)The fourth song plays when you're forced to kill your loved one.
A Remission of Life - Abysmal Dawn
If I had to kill my child, it would work lyrically but not rhythmically, but as it is about love interests, it doesn't work either way.

5.)The fifth song plays when you find your new love interest.
Blast - Vader
Doesn't really work unless I meet her in the heat of battle

6.)The sixth song plays when you make your final stand.
Forward - The Silent Comedy
It is only 26 seconds long, I am adding another song
Crank the Volume - Viking Skull
...That works surprisingly well, I think. Forward as it shows the hordes, Crank the Volume as said hordes are systematically annihilated

7.)The seventh song plays when you think you've survived the final stand.
Spiders - System of a Down
Hmm...kind of works if the final stand had too many losses

8.)The eighth song plays when you discover a bite mark on your arm...
Chyptune - Francisco Cerda
No, this doesn't work unless I am ecstatic about becoming a zombie (unless I quickly find out that I am immune)...although as it progresses, it could be slightly more fitting.

This beats wandering aimlessly around my house wondering what the heck I want to do.

1.)The first song is the overall theme song for the apocalypse.
Under the Sun - Korpiklaani
This is not a bad song to be listening to throughout the apocalypse, has a nice rhythm to it too (gotta love folk metal)

2.)The second song is the one that plays during your first zombie kill.
Solemn they Await - Spawn of Possession
Hmm...sort of works, lyrically it is very cryptic, like with most Spawn of Possession songs, but it may be a little too heavy for a first kill

3.)The third song is the song that plays while you're getting chased by the horde.
Save me - Avenged Sevenfold
Hmm...doesn't really have the right tempo for a chase scene

4.)The fourth song plays when you're forced to kill your loved one.
オカリナ「闇のノクターン」 - Nintendo (Ocarina of Time 3D)
Oh, hey, it's Nocturne of Shadow. Doesn't really fit though, too bad really.

5.)The fifth song plays when you find your new love interest.
Gaping Dragon - 桜庭統
Ah, from Dark Souls...unless it is foreshadowing her being traitorous/evil, then it doesn't work at all

6.)The sixth song plays when you make your final stand.
Lords of Destruction - Black Label Society
That isn't too bad rhythmically or lyrically.

7.)The seventh song plays when you think you've survived the final stand.
Bad Company - Five Finger Death Punch

8.)The eighth song plays when you discover a bite mark on your arm...
The Moon Illuminates - High and Mighty Colour
Not too bad for credits music.

Saying that, I stopped wandering around the the house aimlessly because I ended up finding something to do anyway, go figure.

...Screw it, I need something to take my mind off of my annoyance at Mortal Kombat (last boss Shao Kahn is a pain, I barely managed to win on beginner). I had better get some interesting/amusing results.

1.)The first song is the overall theme song for the apocalypse.
Blackened - Metallica
Meh, not too bad, I suppose

2.)The second song is the one that plays during your first zombie kill.
Rattlehead - Megadeth
Doesn't really work

3.)The third song is the song that plays while you're getting chased by the horde.
Cosmo Canyon - Shiro Hamaguchi, Seiji Honda
Right, a piano cover of a Final Fantasy VII song that was rather slow anyway will only work if the whole chase scene is in slow motion and works to a comical end. That would be better for the 4th one.
4.)The fourth song plays when you're forced to kill your loved one.
Opening - Daisuke Ishiwatari
Nah, too upbeat

5.)The fifth song plays when you find your new love interest.
帰り道、晩こ飯 - YMCK
Rhythmically, it could work, not sure about lyrically...although I am pretty sure that the song is about meals

6.)The sixth song plays when you make your final stand.
Calling You - Blue October
...I want a redo, this is better for 4 or 5, but not something that requires a heavy, upbeat, and/or melancholy tune to work

7.)The seventh song plays when you think you've survived the final stand.
White Requiem - Daisuke Ishiwatari
I suppose that it would work if there was an extra wave of zombies, or some extra drama

8.)The eighth song plays when you discover a bite mark on your arm...
Wish on - Oda Kaori
Would've been better for 4. Although it may work if the character had made a promise that  they could not fulfil, or if they have to be killed/commit suicide.

Also, it isn't on the disc, it is a 600MB download, if it were on the disc, then a single line of code could be changed which would mean that the download for it would be nowhere close to 600-odd MB

You were saying? Seriously, if it is on the disc, then the download would be no bigger than that of an online pass. It would be too much work to make a line of code 600MB+.
Every single one of those was a statement from EA, who's are going to deny it regardless.

Also, as I said, watch this fully. It's not just that it's on the disc (which has overwhelming evidence to claim that it is), it's that the game is not feature complete on purchase, which is very unethical and technically breaking consumer rights.

I can't be bothered to watch a 24 minute video, I'm too busy playing Mortal Kombat (and getting my ass kicked by Shao Kahn as Raiden in chapter 16). I still doubt that it is on the disc, it is like me taking the ability to get a weapon out of the game, keeping all of the necessary assets on the disc, and somehow turning it into a 300MB download. If it were on the disc, and you could just change a single line of code, then how can that single line of code take up 600MB (seriously, if there is a way, tell me). I do believe that Bioware are kind of wrong for making DLC for release and making it only available to people who buy CE (they should at least give it to people who buy the game new, or on release date). Besides, I think that most of this stuff is trying to fight piracy, and it isn't going to work. I'm willing to bet that there is a torrent of ME3 with From Ashes already on the internet somewhere meaning that what they did amounted to nothing more than annoying the consumer (as is often the case with things made to combat piracy (I'm pretty sure that I saw a gif that represented that too). Allegedly, there will be a DLC coming out in April called 'The Truth' and it will address the ending to the game, and I am willing to bet that won't be free (or maybe it will be free for the first few weeks).

Just as a bit of a breather from Mortal Kombat's storyline

1.)The first song is the overall theme song for the apocalypse.
Head on to Heartach (Let Them Rot) - Devildriver
Hmm...not too bad for a song I will have to listen to all the time...not very fitting.

2.)The second song is the one that plays during your first zombie kill.
Imperfect - Stone Sour
...That isn't really fitting at all...unless my first kill was my best friend, in that case, it is kind of fitting.

3.)The third song is the song that plays while you're getting chased by the horde.
Never Turn Back (Shadow the Hedgehog) - Crush 40
...Not really fitting, it's more of a victory song

4.)The fourth song plays when you're forced to kill your loved one.
Beautiful Death - Wintersun
The song is in first person, so I don't really think it fits

5.)The fifth song plays when you find your new love interest.
Take no Prisoners - Megadeth
...I don't think that fits really

6.)The sixth song plays when you make your final stand.
Faux King Christ - Atheist
Probably wouldn't be too bad as a final battle song

7.)The seventh song plays when you think you've survived the final stand.
No One Left - Behold Oblivion
Nah, I think it may be fitting in name alone

8.)The eighth song plays when you discover a bite mark on your arm...
Blood Ocean - Dethklok
Actually, that kind of fits...I suppose.

I don't buy games that have DLC ON THE DISC.
"I'd rather buy it separately!"

I've heard good things about the new mAss Effect (lol im so funne) I might rent it soon.
If the content is already on the disc, i have every right to have it either for free, or part of the game in the first place. It's development time spent on things not going to everyone, and that is unfair in every and all cases. In fact, it's me paying TWICE for stuff that I ALREADY BUY. How fair is that?

I am pretty sure that DLC on the disc is a way of combating piracy and making people buy new copies of the game. Much like with Bulletstorm and Saints Row: The Third having the online pass as a redeemable code on the back of the instruction manual, and as an 800 point download (so if you buy pre-owned, you will need to shell out the 800 points if you wish to play online). I believe that it is trying to ensure that people will buy it new so that the industry can get more money.
The online pass is different. The online pass isn't really content, it's one line of code that says "ONLINE ENABLED = YES/NO". It takes about 5 seconds to implement. From Ashes is ONLY given to people who got the LIMITED EDITION. Otherwise you have to pay for content that is actually hugely important to the plot AND is already on the disc. (therefore, your "newsales" argument is invalid). If it was content that was actually developed alongside the game, it needs to be free or in the actual game. No exceptions.

Not really, they want money, that's all there is to it. If people buy a pre-owned version of the game, then they will be forced to buy the DLC. And the online pass is content, as you need all the stuff that regulates online, as well as all of the different modes, and all of the different systems too. Plus, it only costs the same as an online pass anyway. All DLC, DLC already on the disc, and online passes equate to is 'we want money, give us money, we will give you things, just give us more money', and considering they also have the online pass that only comes with new versions of the game, it does appear that they just want more money in whatever way possible.
Please read my posts before copying and pasting our last response and changing a word or two. ONLY THE LIMITED EDITION GETS IT FREE. ONLY. LIMITED. EDITION. I don't care what you do wih content after the games released, but anything taking time away from development is unnaceptable and must be boycotted. The only way to stop this rampant disregard for consumer rights is to vote with your wallet. If you want this money grabbing to stop, grow some balls and don't support developers who support it.

The funny thing is that I didn't copypaste it, writing that response is the reason that I left 20 minutes late this morning (not that it matters because today is Friday and I don't have college). And I haven't bought Mass Effect 3, I haven't even played the demo. And I know that only people who buy the collecter's edition get it for free, but if you want to pay the extra money so that you can have a Prothean (I think that's the name of the species) on your team, then go ahead. Also, it isn't on the disc, it is a 600MB download, if it were on the disc, then a single line of code could be changed which would mean that the download for it would be nowhere close to 600-odd MB (most CE content is generally 'here is a code, type it in on the redeem code screen and wait a long time to get your content (although, saying that, the online pass is a very small download, and doesn't take too long, but most major extra stuff has a rather large file size)). Unless it was included on the CE disc and not on any other, but that would be kind of stupid as they would have to make two versions of the disc, and keep a close eye on it to make sure that no CE discs went into a normal box and vice-versa. To be honest, you could probably have the same experience regardless of whether or not you had the DLC as it doesn't seem to have a huge bearing, other than a team member, and some support which, from what I've heard, doesn't change the outcome at all.

And From Ashes isn't really important from what I have read, you can get a little more support, but from what I have heard, not much changes based on what you do in the story (in fact, Bioware have had to give full refunds due to false advertising with the whole 'everything you do affects the universe', and all I have heard from people at college is that next to nothing changes (apparently a different coloured explosion, but I can't tell if that is a joke or not))
