tinie tempah is trash

And you're just fine with Dizzee Rascal?
I can't <expletive>ing tell the difference. I'm pretty convinced that most of their songs are exactly the same.

Looks pretty cool. I'm wondering if it would be worth dropping the armour a little in order to swap the Whyachi tribar with a hexplate and some DSL Bars. You're still within the Rule of 7, from the looks of things.

We any closer to knowing who is lighting the Olympic Flame?
My guess is Sir Steve Redgrave.
So where do I collect my winnings?  :gawe:

I reckon it HAS to be David Tennant in his Doctor Who getup. But the entire audience must disappear and then reappear first before the Doctor lights the flame. Who else thinks so?

Not sure at al. My guess is Sir Steve Redgrave.

Nice compact design. Bit too much skirting for my liking, though, most of it looks pretty pointless. I'd ditch most of it, and try to get it invertible in some way. Maybe some upward angled skirts on either corner.

Looking nicely done on that bot. =D Would the Lightning Spikes not prevent the setup from actually getting to the opponent, though?

Pretty interesting idea. I'm pretty sure I did this with an SnS Flamethrower bot in my showcase somewhere, but it's been implemented differently here. I wonder if you could make it into a viable bot design.

Looking fantastic so far, I must say. Although if you're planning on making it into a game, depending on what kind of game it is, you'll need to make them in different positions and so forth. Maybe diagonal sprites as well, or crashed ones, things of that nature. But it will probably be great if you can pull it off.

Sooo... Two months later we still don't have anything.
MNB is the king of procrastinators.
This is true, and yes, Jamin you ARE ABOUT 6 MONTHS LATE FOR SIGNUPS. Honestly, I kinda lost interest in RA2 again, and AI'ng is a pain that I've been putting off, but I will solemnly swear on my dead grandmothers grave that I will at the very least have a complete splash up by August 1st, and start videos within a week of that time. After I start videos, things should go quickly-ish. And if you're using any wonky smartzones, just let me know, because I only have the stock ones.

This has been going on for too long, so I'm going to hold you to that. I'll give you until midnight on August 1st, but I'm locking this after that. Sorry to waste peoples' time like that, but rules are rules, this should have been finished months ago.

That's about the size of it, Garvin.
When you say everyone, does that include, Ben, Noodle and the other ones?
Yeah. Everyone includes everybody on the boards. Even Somebody.

Coming up to 178 days. Pretty much half a year. I wonder if I can claim it back in some form of board credit.

Also downloaded IE9, and I have no idea what the font is doing when I'm typing here. Although I also have Avast now, which caught a couple of worms that were creating havoc. But now everything is tickety-boo, as GF93 would probably say. With a monocle.
I used avast for a couple years then I realized MSE is much better.
I did try MSE, but the worms (ckarmtfi.exe and tsxmovhr.exe, in case anyone ever gets those) reappeared when I restarted for some reason. Avast popped them in the Virus Chest and everything's fine now.

On a slightly related note, I somehow managed to save myself 9GB of disk space from deleting Temporary files and sorting out the Registry. Maybe I'll treat myself to a backup tomorrow.

I'm hitting three years in August. =D Although I did have that hiatus just after I started until April for some reason.

This has slowed because AIing is a long, slow, laborious task with very low payoff. This is why I've always told people to learn for themselves, AI 2 bots, and if everyone does that, I don't have to AI 40-something making it better for everyone - you guys learn a skill, I don't hate the tournament before I even run it, and it speeds up. I was planning to do some tomorrow, and then a lot this weekend too.

HOWEVER. I did send a PM out WEEKS ago telling those who said 'I'll send an update/AI' to send it in, and I'm still waiting on about 5.

I'll do my best to get some AI done if I have a bit of spare time when I'm not on MSN to anyone.

Pretty good design. I do like that overlapping Perms idea, I might have to try that out myself at some stage.

Nice use of Clep blades. I'm sure there's a more efficient thing to use, such as Heavy Plows, perhaps. I do like to see a defensively-oriented bot every once in a while, though, it's a nice change from "how many weapons can you attach?".

I'd suggest attaching angled skirts directly to the ends of the halfsheet. You still get the stability you need, but they won't obstruct wider opponents from going into the weapon. I'd try to get something to protect the axle on the LW, though, you've only got 400HP to gamble with.

I would advise removing the bracket, and getting the blades back on. If one of your wedges gets taken off on a lucky hit, that'll severely hamper your ability to get under your opponents. The bracket wedge will in all likelihood hinder you actually getting close enough to your opponent's chassis to damage it, and probably just get taken off very quickly anyway.
