Can anyone please tell me who owns breeZ (i think it might be Naryar's) and Na203 (might be an old bot thats been replaced) please?
I am up to 25/26 robots atm, if (not mentioning any names) robot doesnt work, or is Na203 is an old bot, then there will still be one/two spots left up for grabs.
All AI is being double checked :)
And no, this torunament isnt dead  :mrgreen:  (yet)

To save a thread from being a short lived one, i do have one more question:
Is there anyway of making the decal for a weapon apply to the opponents chassis even after a very slow hit?
Basically, im trying to make a painting sponge, but whenever it hits the opponents chassis the decal doesnt show up.
I have added the decal stuff in.
I dont want it to be a highly damaging component as that would be unrealistic.
So, even after a slow hit, is there anyway of making the decal even slightly apply itself?

Hey All
Again, i've been jugging multiple topics of RA2, and my latest error: My replica pack =_=
Basically, i'd been working on a replica, made a terrible first attempt at one, exported the skin for it in-game, take a look at the replica again, go back to the game to make a new one, then this is happening:
The second splash screen has a white bar above it (i havent edited it in ages)
When I go on Team HQ, the bottom buttons (Help, Menu & Team HQ) are now just white boxes
Then, when I go to enter a team, the game crashes.
Exhibition all works (robots, arenas, ect.)
Im trying copying what I have over to an old backup of the pack to see if it works.
Has anyone else had this problem before and sorted it out?
If there is a fix, please help me, otherwise this is 7 months of work down the drain (again! =_=)

Yes... for moi's RR AI Pack :P
Its a great idea that i recently came up with, and something that i dont think has been done before with an AI pack.
Basically, the pack will include a skin to edit, and a Battle Rat chassis in ra2, so that then a player can simply edit the skin and import it to the battle rat chassis, then there you have it, your very own Battle Rat, bit like in real life! :P
I may also include some different coloured battle rat skins for nostalgia, if anyone wants a different coloured one or something :P (If it has been done before, sorry! :( )

Its not the Low Lag arena that i am modding, i just used its .py file as a try out, since its one without hazards OR an intro.
BUT no luck :(

I should of said, i am editng the small arena, and I have gotten rid of the hazards and the intro.
I have even tried modifying the Low Lag arena for this arena, and it still doesnt work (of course i have tried the small arena's py, lol :P)

Hey All
Im wondering if anyone knows of something i can try.
I am working on an arena, but whenever i press start with the arena selected, the screen just goes black, then after some time, the crowd cheer noise plays, as if the fight had started.
I have run the .py file through IDLE and done the Module Check, but it says that its all ok, and the GMF doesnt have any problems when compiling.
Has this happened to anyone else before? If so, do you know of any cure for it?

Hey guys im SOOO sorry that i havent been able to update you for.....errm....well, a very long time :P
Anyway, i bring some news.
1st off, i am up to 22 out of 27 competitors, and there will be no deadline now BUT please get your robots in ASAP if you havent!
Second, i havent been able to think of any ideas for prizes so there is no update on prizes :P
And thirdly, some rather sad (if anyone cares) news that i may soon be giving this all up.
Sorry guys, of course i have my little projects that i will finish, like WR S4 and my RR AI Pack, but when all that is done RA2 may just be something that i occasionally play now and then.
This is due to the fact that life has now become insanely busy for me, which hence my very low ammont of posts now-adays.
But i may still visit the forum once in a while :)
Sorry for anyone who does care, but i just feel that school, ju-jitsu and a lot of other things are getting in the way and that i cant do this for much longer.
Also i am running out of ideas now, i feel that everything has been done and that i cant even get inspiration without thinking, let alone forcing it.
But, i guess, no promises :) (just a heads up)
So, im off to AI some of the new entrys (Thanks to those who have sent thier bots in!)

Gave Click a bunch on images, in fact i gave him a 3d net i made from images, so it is a maybe.
But to be honest, not being mean of anything, but if we are going to be doing any AW replicas, it should probably be one that might be good at fighting, say like Ant Awe 6 or Desire, interesting AWs indeed, and even though i lost to one (on a split second shooting under!) Servo driven AWs are a good starting point...BUT we do see many of them, and for DSL, noooot really.
Plus, i think that Click may have enough on his hands at the mo, so unless someone else can make any other replicas, i can see AW reps being a bit of a no.

So we are going to be seeing Omni Wheels?!?!? Cause that is what Alcoholic Stepfather uses. If so, AWESOMESAUSE!

Probably not, due to the 1 axle limit.
A component is only allowed up to 1 axle in it (like a motor) but unless Click can sort that out, i very much doubt they'll be an omni wheel made (unless its just loads of components :S )

Hey All, sorry i that i havent been able to update you all for some time, but my granddads funeral was last tuesday, so things leading up to and after that have been busy, but im fairly free now.
Good to see a large ammount of you have entered, but keep on getting your bots in!
I am still keeping up with AI'ing all of your robots.
Only thing that i still really need to do is the prize! (STILL no update im affraid)
So... nothing more for me to say apart from remember to keep on sending your bots (if you havent done so already!) and i'll be seeing you all around.
