Chatterbox / Re: Debate: Schools: State/Public or Private?« on: November 27, 2010, 05:18:58 AM »
I've been in both. A private school has way better equipment for labs, but they are also willing to pass every student, no matter how much they're lacking in education. This basically makes most private schools refuges for retards. I remember one dude who was a complete arsehole not willing to learn anything, he still passed because the school wanted monies from his parents.
I find public schools much better. While the equipment is worse and the teachers are sometimes underpaid, those with a vocation stay. And most of those are actually excellent. The courses are harder, but you also learn way more. They don't treat you like a little prince like private schools do, and I like that - you fuck up, you're out. Also, they're completely free (at least in my COMMOONIST COUNTRY), and you get 50% off from public transport fees (I pay $10 per month and can go anywhere I want in Warsaw. This includes buses, trams, subway and trains.). 607
Chatterbox / Re: YOURE FAVORITE ASIAN IS BACK« on: November 27, 2010, 05:08:03 AM »
I read that as YOUR FAVORITE ASIAN IS BLACK.
Ehm. I guess your position wasn't really related to technology, right? If it was, my questions are: "How hard is it for an amateur with a soldering iron to fuck around with BGA chips?" and "Is there any possibility to buy chips from SE in non-bulk amounts (like I would have to if I ordered straight from the manufacturer)?". 608
Off-Topic Discussion / Re: GTM land!« on: November 24, 2010, 02:30:50 PM »Realtek is pretty good as far as audio/drivers go and its usually built into newer PC models. Yes, but it still doesn't matter as they use the default Windows audio stack, and not some fancy stuff like ASIO which has been made for the ground up to not suck. And generally, only high end audio devices support it. Also, Realtek makes okay sound cards. 609

The lead should be louder (I couldn't hear it well when I was on low volume, but it may be because of my crappy speakers), but otherwise, it is bloody awesome. I'm so gonna steal it :D.

I am in love with the riff that comes in around 0:45. It's so... groovy! The intro is a wee bit too boring though.
Also, upload your damn files to SoundCloud :P. 616
