Setting 'Top Bot Builders' categories aside for a moment, while it's true that I do a lot of background facilitating, Joe has done a lot of overt work to help out the community. Top Contributor is broad and generic; Top DSL builder is very specific. Perhaps we need to adjust our taxonomy to more specific contributions, such as 'Top': Tourney Facilitator, General Assistance, Tech Assistance, Newb Helper, Innovative Bot builder, Innovative Coder, Innovative Thinker(Forum input), Wiki Worker,... Facilitating stuff is very time consuming,... for me at least. I'll confess that the last 2-3 tourneys I entered, Sage was nice enough to build a bot for me, cause I just couldn't do it and all the arena work too (though I probably AI.py-ed it). Mucho thanks to Sage. CB, usually runs BBEANS, builds an arena, and enters a bot too... The amount of effort here is not appreciated, IMHO. Sure he's not online at GTM as much as the rest of us, but he's still working in the background. Order doesn't happen by itself...(magic). What I'm saying is that the 'Top Contributor' category utilizes an 'Iceberg Assessment' dynamic, which is not very objective/accurate. More specific categories may help this problem...

No, the balls are IN the arena.gmf. If you want to use them then just cut and paste the geomobject, it's skin, and the rigidbody below... and you can put it in any arena you like (or even make it an independent component).

Sage! How did you get your mom to hold up such a sign over the Ref,... while you hide innocently in the background.... (Next time, remove your cap.) ----------------------------- GRW, the shredder one is funny. -----------------------------
Attorney joke(from a lawyer friend): A lawyer's dog, running around town unleashed, heads for a butcher shop and steals a roast. The butcher goes to the lawyer's office and asks, "if a dog running unleashed steals a piece of meat from my store, do I have a right to demand payment for the meat from the dog's owner?" The lawyer answers, "Absolutely."
"Then you owe me $8.50. Your dog was loose and stole a roast from me today."
The lawyer, without a word, writes the butcher a check for $8.50. The butcher, having a feeling of satisfaction, leaves.
Three days later, the butcher finds a bill from the lawyer: "$100 due for legal consultation."

Hey, Hi5er. Welcome to GTM. Rather than enumerating a bunch of rules, my advice is to just 'use your head' consistently. Nice to have you around.
BTW: Is your Dad a High Tenor?

GRW, did you get it working correctly yet? If not, just send over (PM) the bot and bindings line and I'll help out.
*Wonders where the 'Mods' are...*

Sorry for the hold up guys... I've been out of commission for a bit while moving (still tech-crippled a bit). I don't have access to my A2 work at all, so you guys go for it as you see fit.
Serge, A 3dsMaxed arena?......that's real nice of you. Cool.
Why don't one/some of you guys take over this project and I'll just help out as we get into it... whatever path we take here.

D-7, I've a rudimentary reference sheet of py commands if you'd like it. AI and Arena py stuff with examples. Let me know. Been too busy to help anyone lately.
Thought: Maybe we should have a thread or whole forum on py tuts.

That is because he is Bannable!
I gave him that particular user title, Gig, because he often teased (via word or pic) ACAMS, and then waited for the 'Banning' to take place.....(which never happened)---thus the title. BTW: Been MIA, due to present moving sit.... Just checking in.

Trov, Apanx and Serge were TA's..... We made a category just for you guys... (Pink was ACAMS' choice... hehe. Actually I think it's cool.) Sparky: Well then, we'll just have to fix that....

Got my bot done. I'm going a bit more low-key this time... not by choice, but because I have so much else going on.
Yep. I do relate... But I'm sure it's still nice.

I think Sparky has a good idea...but doesn't understand quite enough yet. Bred with some more thought it will do well, IMO. 'Raptors' Inc would be a good company name cause it will devour cards up quickly. Just trying to help.....

Ok, a few thoughts: Does it work fine in exhibition? Does it work fine in exhibition, using the same bots that crash it in the lab? SZz installed?
