We could get Nerdcubed to gather his subscribers up to go to a patron website and provide money/code. His Robot Arena 2 video has gotten up to 700,000 views already, so we would have a ton of people to help. He is generally interested in a new combat game, and he is very persuasive.

You move your units and attack and your goal is to kill the enemy leader while recruiting units and capturing villages. It's more like Hero Academy but more complicated.

http://www.wolfire.com/desperate-godsThe awesome Wolfire team strikes again. This is a sweet, innovative board game with physics and no restrictions so you can get real immersive feel that you're playing an actual board game.

This should explain the game well enough. The game has improved some since the video and there is now an endless arena mode and that's pretty much it gameplay-wise. Really fun and addicting and with the map editor you can create some awesome maps.

It's fantasy based and the map is made of hexes so no. But Company of Heroes is great too.

Battle for Wesnoth is a turn-based strategy game with RPG features. It's sort of simple, but very difficult. Check it out here: wesnoth.orgIt's free and open source as well with a ton of add-ons with new campaigns, units, and maps.

Wow, this game seems to have been erased worse than Robot Arena. The only mentions of it are a small group on Facebook, this thread, the warheads website, an old thread on the GoG, and a few small old posts on gaming overview websites. There's probably like less than a thousand people still playing it. It would be cool if Nerdcubed did a video on it and gave it the attention it needs.

Warheads SE is a really old game from 1995 that is like worms in space. The planets have gravity and stuff and you get a ton of various weapons to fight with, including ones that you create in the weapons editor. The guy behind it seems to have died or something because the most recent update is from November of 2012, but thankfully the last update before he went added compatibility with 64-bit and Windows 7. Its a lot of fun and I suggest you guys check it out. http://www.warheads.net/

On the Robocraft Youtube channel they recently uploaded a video showing off the work in progress spider legs.
They seem to be very nice for climbing up hills and stable shots.

I recently found an awesome Portal 2 mod called Thinking with Time Machine. In it you get a device that lets you record yourself doing something, then play the device to make a clone of you appear and do what you just did. So it is essentially Co-op but one person is controlling both people with one controller. It also takes place is a very high-tech bad ass part of Aperture Science so there are awesome machines and stuff. Like the Weighted Storage Cube gets built in front of you with welders. To get the mod you just find it at the Steam Store and download it.

That's right, a fan-made remake of Command and Conquer: Renegade was recently released. http://www.renegade-x.com/I haven't got to the multiplayer yet of the original Command and Conquer: Renegade so I can't say how different it is from the original. It does have a hell of a lot better graphics though, I'll tell you that. The Ion cannon and Nuclear Strike look as bad ass as ever.

The game is a long way from finished. They have a crap-ton of balancing and map editing to do. I wonder what the game would be like if it wasn't Free to Play and if it would be better.

Plasma's on my flyer sucked so I replaced them with railguns, added some helium as railguns are heavier. In battle I fly high up and forward a bit then I have a clear and stable shot on anyone in the main part of the map. I replaced the railguns with plasmas on my tank and added a bunch of extra green armor in the front and got 1-4 kills per game. The railguns still suck, but I enjoy sniping so I use them anyway.

Well you have to sit still for like 5 seconds for the reticle to shrink, then it is exactly accurate at all distances. But that makes speed completely useless, and these robots don't have a park mode so whenever I'm aiming at someone all of a sudden they disappear from view and I'm aiming at a rock.
What statistics do you suggest for each weapon? Plasma with armor, lasers with speed, etc. I haven't done much grinding yet.

The railguns sucked. I hit people and appeared to do no damage even though I got the indicator. It took like 16 shots it seemed to destroy one guy.

Protip: If you aren't moving then the lines around the cursor will get closer together and if they are all as close as possible then you hit directly on target with railguns. This is my current railgun bot, it works pretty well. I have been able to tank several plasma shots and accurate hits on my weaponry is hard to get. The pilot seat is surrounded in green armor. I'm a little too proud of it.

Wow, love the menu. It's looking good so far. Maybe at some point a Kickstarter could be in order to try and fund it.
