No updates until after the Northern tour? So does that mean he'll be meeting with the staff to discuss things further?

Everything seems to be coming together nicely. Good work as always. Cherub sounds like it'll be interesting to use in battle.

In regards to the replicas only seen in DSL such as Bulldog Breed and Supernova, will those be updated for this and DSL 3.0, or are they being left out to give room to other replicas?

In terms of who I wouldn't want back, it's a bit difficult for me to decide. Apart from certain pit/post battle interviewers, I can't really point out any particular people I wouldn't want back.

In terms of what I wouldn't want back though:

*Producer interference. Too many issues came up in Robot Wars because of the producers wanting to stick their fat fingers into everything. The case surrounding Storm 2 stands out in particular because they were pulling out every underhanded trick they could to get that machine out of the studio. The fact that the producers rigged the series 7 grand final so much from allowing Typhoon 2 to be fixed half way into the match to hiding evidence from the judges irritates me to this day. Just let the matches play out normally rather than trying to stick to a set plan.

*"MAKE SOME NOISE!!" If you're going to have presenters, please have them come off as genuine rather than screaming children's entertainers. As Votesaxon07 pointed out in his "Bring Back Robot Wars" video, Craig Charles went from an enthusiastic yet dry comedian, to an overly hyper lunatic in RW Extreme and onwards. I understand audience interaction is important, but telling your presenter to ham it up to extreme levels is absurd for something that's not a live event. If Craig were to come back to present Robot Wars or any robot combat show, I would hope the producers would allow him to be as natural as he was in series 2, 3 and 4.

*Arena gimmicks for the sake of it. Nobody likes arena spinners. Nobody likes hell raisers. That is all

*"Get back in the CPZ!" If you're going to have house robots, don't have them running about willy nilly in the arena actively looking for trouble. Poor Killertron and Ming 3 suffered because some jerkoff controlling a house robot said "Hey! The wrong robot is winning! Time to fix that!". They should only come out of their patrol zones if there's a robot that has been counted out or otherwise declared immobilized, and they should only go after that robot.

Apparently this is the website, translated. Can't work out how recent the show is. Basnik96? You seem to know everything about it. :P

2008-2009 is its age
All the more hilarious it is that most of the British and American robots from the 2000's would maul these bots
There's one or two decent designs, particularly here with the Little Drummer Boy clone.

It's a shame we don't see that many (if any) eastern robots competing in western events.

Neat. I wonder if there's anymore international robot combat shows we don't know about.

Nice update to MM. It looks even better with the ears on.

Also, best of luck in regards to your increased responsibility as an uncle.

I hate to ask this since you have a lot on your plate right now, but are you still open to commissions?

Loving Meggamouse. I really like the battle-damaged skin you gave it.

This is my latest work, awaiting approval and photographs from the team. Anyone know which robot this is?

I'm going to guess Team Mute's new robot perhaps?

Yeah Wham's Chaos 2 is very good and incredibly fun to play with.

presumably it would be updated since HB has taken over

I think I recall HB saying that he wouldn't upgrade any of Wham's bots that fit in with his own. I'm probably wrong but Chaos 2 would fit nicely so I think it won't be changed.
The only suggestion I would make would be to fix the flipper a bit. Some of the back of it clips through the robot when it fires.

With Dantomkia now officially here, can we possibly see DTK and Spitfire

IIRC he posted Spitfire somewhere.

Did he? Haven't seen it to be honest

If I recall correctly he posted it in both the battlebots ai and the pay tribute with replicas?
I thought it was TommyProductionsInc who reskinned the DTK shell

Nice work with Iron Awe 5, and good to hear you've been in contact with someone involved with RWL/FRA. If you need someone who's good with bot file editing, you could always contact Resetti. He's pretty good at it, and he's also made tonnes of replicas.

There seems to be quite a demand for more UK robots, but what about some representation for other countries? There's no doubt the USA and Netherlands are going to be represented, but I think it'd be a bit of a shame to leave out robots like Phillipa 2 (Belgian, 2nd place in both European championship and 2nd Dutch series) or Snake Bite (possibly the only Swiss robot to enter a Robot Wars competition).

74
Nice Hypno-Disc. Looks more accurate, even if I felt Wham's was pretty spot on.

On the topic of donations and paid DLC, would you take commisions? I know you're already planning a subscriber DLC thing, but what if someone were to give you a bit of money to do a certain replica or arena? While I agree with Trovaner about the "paid content for an old game" thing, I do like your work and don't think the idea of making 3d models for a small fee is that farfetched. Just look at the train simulator community.

75
Nice work on Sir Chomalot. Just out of curiosity, what alterations are you going to make to Pussycat?

76
I think there's something wrong. I keep throwing money at the screen, but nothing's happening.

In all seriousness, brilliant job with M2 there. How well does it self-right?

Custom Components Showcase / Re: Pay Tribute With Replicas

are those round extenders on the back?
Not small enough. They look like custom components to me, with one block of bumps for the square part of the chassis and one block of bumps for when it narrows at the back.

NOTICE ME SENPAI!!! :rage
You certainly get by on just the stuff DSL has. Like a Macgyver of RA2. Impressive.

79
Brilliant work on Gravity. On the subject of the next replica, Crustacean seems more of a unique choice to me.

BTW, will this be an addon for Wham's pack or will it be stand alone?

80
Love GC2 and Atomic. It'd be a shame if Wham didn't contact you to help him with his pack.

I'd personally like to see T2, Wheelosaurus or Pitbull.
