I meant rotate the extenders as they are to tilt the razors diagonally toward the ground, but this looks good too. You can save weight by tightening up the chassis and using one of the hidden APs on the snapper with snapper loading (so the HPZ is attached directly to it) and that's about it.

Looks a lot better now, but also more generic which tends to happen with LWs. You might want to try angling the razors a bit downward to help deal with popups which are the other major bot type, and giving the HPZ a different setup to lower the tribar if it's not invertible.

Weird CB stack. Is it meant to be a 1WD HS or an SnS? I don't think Badnik is allowing meltybrain AI so it wouldn't actually be mobile as your typical 1WD HS, and it would just sit there and get counted out as an SnS if the opponent doesn't start pushing it around in time.

Either way, if you're going for a meltybrain HS, just one RAD or Redbird would be enough, and if you want an SnS having 2WD makes more sense to actually have movement.

Pretty solid, DSA on all I'm guessing. Though that extender on the last one is pretty exposed; even if it's just there for armor it might mess with invertibility.

I like the juggler the best, but the crawler would probably perform the best in a tournament.

is the turnspeed high enough with that wheelbase?
It's not a HS, so the snapper HPZs work well. And I think the game physics are pretty good about rotational inertia; the distance from the drive to the weapons is short so less force is needed to turn.

nice stuff. the iron racks are really dense though, so do you think the bot would benefit from having them wider? also, why not use shinies?
It can be invertible with shinies or rubbers, but I like to have smaller targets considering it's only got two to work with. A wider rack would probably help against HS, but not really wedged bots since it needs to be able to turn around easily while it's getting knocked around, I also just like the way it looks

I can't believe Stock is ****ing dead

Can we at least see what his bot was? Or watch it battle a byebot in a two-man bracket?

Since I found out I wasn't eligible for the Challenge Belt, I took the time to make a cleaner version of my initial entry. Wanted to see how many irons I could fit on a heavyweight

DSA and invertible, the setup was really complicated to keep within rule of 7 but not inefficient (basically used a bunch of red extenders as further T-connectors) with 48 irons, 4 pickaxes, and 2 maces in total. Same irons as One Way Ticket and less than Dark July but I traded for casters and a snapper setup. Thank god I had component freedom for attaching the weapons, and even still had to add snapper loading to keep track of where all the extenders were

Happy Halloween everyone, hope you enjoy yourselves on the spooookiest night of the year! I don't think kids really come by my neighbourhood, but I have an emergency supply of four Twix bars ready just in case. I'll also be watching The Halloween Tree and trying Imscared on Steam. Be sure to celebrate the last day of the season and always check behind you!

General Support / Re: RA2 Crashing in events

Thanks for all the info, but that's a really weird error. Are you able to replicate the crash by setting the same match up in Exhibition mode? You could try isolating the source that way. I don't have much advice other than keep trying different things, maybe a different resolution will help. If you can't get it, skipping one event won't matter a lot. I think the seasons go on forever anyway, so there's not really anything to "beat". And you haven't made any modifications to the game files other than saving robots?

idk who you paid to do that math, but you could just upgrade the weapon motors? If you're concerned about them sticking out too much maybe try a setup where they're attached to the side instead of the front. I'd first focus on not getting deweaponed though, you should at least go for 4 irons+4 razors or 8 razors with a ramming rack for front-facing spinners. Maybe use a single top trapper instead of two on the sides to get the weight, or you can have angled spinners with a wedge and not need more than 8 razors

Less than a week left until the big night. I've watched Monster House, Trick 'r Treat, Scooby-Doo, and Coraline so far this season. Still saving some favourites like the spooky Spongebob eps, Over the Garden Wall, Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, and Stranger Things S2 for later. Also I forgot to mention creepypastas in the OP if anyone's into that. I always like Ted the Caver: http://www.angelfire.com/trek/caver/

Does anyone remember their favourite Halloween candy? Snickers, Reese's and Rockets are top-tier, I also love candy corn and Nerds but never seemed to get any of them
