DSL TC Showcases / Re: Martymidgets DSL Showcase« on: September 28, 2015, 06:15:11 AM »i'm gonna predict right now that the Shell Spinner panel at the back prevents it from juggling anything but bots with very short wedges if they have long wedges, it'll just rip off the wedges instead and then get to the chassis a bit later; the panel gives a hell of alot of control over the other robot for so little weight and it's not the end of the world if it gets ripped off. that other one with the firestorm flipper looks aight but why use weight on stuff to get them up to the jugglers when you can just have them parallel the the wedge? Discs are more vulnerable sure but it increases the likelihood of you juggling them and allows you to use hammy motors for the discs. it's for VS mostly, the discs often fall off. And you really don't need hammy motors on a juggler; they're a waste of weight imo. The setup on the first bot kills the undersides of bots just as fast as a perm 132 full disc setup. Bigger discs also throw the other robot around too much and sacrifices a little control on a robot type that's all about controlling the other robot. The razors also deweapon FS if it comes to a wedge lock, as well as instantly ripping off small wedges. 70

I'll test it out since it doesn't work well enough atm. I haven't come up with a way to improve the traditional juggler more than I have at the moment. Good luck. 76

I feel maw may be a little too wide and might let some VS go down the middle for a cheesy kill.
For imperative, I dunno about angling the rack the other way, I've tried it before and bots do tend to get stuck there, but the weight will force the front up, and with wheels as small as hypnos there's a good chance it'll get immobilised before the other bot gets destroyed. It's good to see you still building jugglers, I'm all out of ideas for them. 77
