Update- I couldnt get the flails to stay together, so i switched to 2 iron spikes per plate for a total of 24. Removed one ant batt, so now I have 17. total weight of 795 something. Here it is. Are static iron spikes a good choice for shell spinners? Any other weapons that work really well on non flail shell spinners? Beat Grog and some of the other hard HW's with it.

Try to use Tankcat's AGOD cure by using the pause button before going to the bot lab.
If that still doesn't work, sadly you will have to rebuild the whole bot. D: Wait, You mean like scap it/ built an entirely new bot, or just redo the shell? Edit- I assume "whole bot" means the entire bot, haha.

Much better on all of these. I would be concerned that the pole spikes on HurricaneAndrew v3 may make it so the razer tips arent really hitting that much. Something to ponder.

Ha, yeah it is to a degree. I just kinda wander in their general direction most of the time. Yes, they seem to be very good for this purpose, at least to me. This is my first ever realistic bot, it was kinda hard for me to catch on to that rule in the beginning.

I just downloaded DSL 2.1 about 2 hours ago, and have only made one bot so far. It's a HW flail shell spinner. Here are some pics. From above An angled view. 12 spiked clubs, duel perm motor to spin the shell, 1mm Ti armor, 18 ant batts, NPC T64 motors for drive, micro wheels, weighing in at 798. Beat all the HW's Ive fought, including, WIIIDE LOAD, and Grog. I didnt have enough weight for a longer polycarb sheet to self right, but the short one keeps me from going completly flat. My main issue is that the little axle things that my clubs are attached to keep coming out of place.... Is there any way to fix this? Thanks.

I recall a bot called Armorgeddon, or something like that. Had a vaccum pump and a seal so it could stick itself to the ground and become nearly immovable. Very cool design.

I would like to apologize for being an ass in HurricaneAndrew's showcase. Had a rough day, and let it get to me and I'm sorry. Especially to H.A. Also, if II and whoever else are still up for a bout, I think it would be a lot of fun, so pm me.

Dude, your first bot is an overly large box with wheels, ect. I promise you, it is not of your own design... Also you claim one hit kills with your first bot, but your fastest kill is over 14 secs after the match begins.... ok.

Ok, here it is. 799.3 kg, DSA, 4 DDT's, 4 razor tips per DDT, 4W HPZ drive, burst wedges, wheels axle loaded for a very tight fit. And 3 Blacks, using stacking. Note- as you may be able to see my wheels are a pixle off center, causing my bot to drift. I have sense fixed this. EDIT- also, since these pics were taken I have turned my green burst motors upside down.

May be a odd question, but whatever. I was curious as to what other HW popups are hitting for as far as points go in a single hit. My average is around 2000 and my highest was about 3900. I'm using my popup Serious Cat. If I fire my DDTs at just the right time, I can 1 hit kill any non SHW in the Starcore v3 pack that I've managed to get under. So, about 90% of them so far. Don't think I've tried them all though. Is that good for a HW popup? The points I mean. Thanks.

I on the other hand happen to know a good deal about biology, and if anyone would like to debate "pro evolution" I'd be glad to help out. All of my arguments have scientific basis. night.

Perhaps his better weapon setup and your better drive will balance them in a way. I suppose we will see. Im confedent in it. Also, will the matches take place tonight?...... Wait is Tankcat a Pure HS???
