but flamethrower is flamethrower.  This would also be a bit more useful though:

so what is the consensus on furry fandom? It's not strictly sexual.

Just an update. I did indeed buy one of these. Got in early during the indiegogo campaign and snagged myself one for considerably less dough than they're asking now that the company is off the ground and running smooth. Gotta say, it's some of the most fun I've ever had in my life.

The rules mention something called "free to join" boards. I assume this means the Playground, etc. Can't seem to find an option under profiles settings to enable these. Already sent a PM to admin about my possibly not being allowed access to the "Chatterbox" forum after I tried to follow a moved thread ("ACAMS hosted a radio show") and received an error that it doesn't exist or I don't have access.

Bot file editing will be simple, it's a json file you can open with notepad or notepad++. Your bots are stored in your My Documents folder. Component editing is trickier than that and currently takes some knowledge of Unity and CAD, but it should be easier than RA 2. We have no formal plans yet to release the details on customizing components - but it's on our wishlist to do for sure.

Good. I said 3 months because I actually remember when RA2 was released. The initial excitement waned quickly when people figured out what a pain in the butt playing online was. It wasn't till people like Lu-Tze and others started to figure out the game files and released 3rd party tools that the community really exploded and drove sales of the game.

Just saying RA2 was never much to begin with either. The game never would have survived as long as it has without the modding community. The smartest thing they could do is release dev tools within 3 months of the games release.

What are the details on Battlebots starting again? I thought I saw a commercial of some kind for that but I was drunk and forgot about it until now.

and all the components are the same as RA2? Using the same physics engine? Smells like a quick money grab to me. I predict you will all be back to playing RA2 within 6 months time unless they make RA3 highly moddable from the onset.

Alright, here's a random question that I hope the Devs answer-

Do you plan to include references and/or nods to GTM in some way or another? Like, if one of the stock AI bots was Spinner from the West, or something.
I mean, it would be a thank you to the community, if anything.

they've nodded at us enough. First with that hidden code when the website was first released, and now directly referencing the forum when doing Q&As.

Hidden code?

It's cool (hot) and all but...

Why do you need one?

I was thinking about buying one but then I realised, why? Why would I buy a flame thrower? To set toilet paper on fire?

You clearly don't remember the biggest question of the RA1 era. but besides the obvious lighting sh** on fire thing, I could melt snow with it.

Hahah, oh how complex keyboards used to be when we were young! :P

I can barely remember anyone either if I'm honest mate. Your user name is quite memorable, mine on the other hand was daft! I could only properly remember Goose, Click and ACAMs tbh. Then again it was ten years ago or so when I buggered off!

Who was the nutter who ran the other forum that was all dark ect? And he ran the biggest tourneys and fell out with people all the time? Was it RFSHQ or something?
ra-reborn was all black and green. i cant remember if i was a moderator there or i just had the highest post count of anyone. that place was my jams! it was i think acams, hx, krazy, nana and the rest of us snarky sharp witted internet types. the original ra1 site was also dark grey and that was the one ran by our2rovers and towerboy. tryme and some other guy who i can't quite remember right now but rfs would remember in a heartbeat were the 'hated' ones. TDS!! that was the mother ****er! we had a picture of his face as a smiley on rfshq. i miss rfshq. i still checked back from time to time as an admin. last i checked it was just STACK OF BUTTS posting goofy little flash stick animations and goose making cool line-rider type games. i feel bad for neglecting it but life happened for a while. rfshq was dark blue for a while, then light blue and swirly, then dark blue again. aceuplink was light blue with the default vb skin. arc was aqua and cobalt for a long time and ran the most primitive forum software right out of 1998. alphasim had his little gold forum that tag teamed with rfshq for the inter-forum tournament that was held back in the day (which was a BLAST, and i wish there was still a widespread multi-site multi-clique community so we could do that again)

youve all got me started. this could go on forever!

RA-Reborn was Grawss, I don't remember ACAMS being staff there but idk.

I'm tired of waiting for Robot Arena 3 so I decided to start working on it secretly on my own about 3 years ago. It's been a slow moving project but I finally feel confident enough to show a couple screenshots of gameplay to show y'all the progress that's been made so far.

I was looking for a robotic blow job machine to pleasure me and google search results seemed to push robot arena to the top so I clicked on it and was pleasantly disturbed by what I found here. FAP FAP FAP FAP FAP
