Yes, you have the vertical hammer/flipper solution, but also the inverted side hammer solution. (just like a side hammer but with start/end positions inverted) I see. I'm still trying to make a diesector style robot with vertical jaws but by time I get the jaws done, if I get done with the jaws, the hammers will be pretty pathetic so it will probably just be a show bot. Are the "clamp" motors in regular dsl or do I need to download them too? Another question, is it possible to put 3 small spinning disks with a weapon on a larger spinning diskwith a weapon?

It doesn't really. then what does it do? im still trying to make a set of vertical clamp style jaws. only two problems, one, i don't know how without making them "snap" and two, dsl doesn't come with many extra weapons and motors.

So is there not a motor or other item that would let you grapple something rather than flip or something?

Saws are actually one of the most destructive weapons you can have in DSL. Simply you need to protect them well... So what your saying is the blades don't need to stick out so far? Or prehaps be smaller? Does a smaller blade on the same motor do less damage?

(Image removed from quote.) They're not that bad, actually. how did you do the front with your wedge?

Well... I can see why people don't like your robots.
- Sheet wedges beat chassis wedges. - Weapons could be improved... for around the same weight, you could have a DSL disc and 4 Typhoon spikes or 4 light double sided teeth. Bit low in weapon HP, but a bit more destructive. Ofcourse, you could have a much better weapon with stronger (and heavier) spikes.
*According to what I know myself I think my discs are 100 mm. I couldn't get anything bigger as a vertical blade.

Not that.
There are no Diesector components in DSL so it won't work. Technically, you must first import the different custom components needed for Diesector from the AI BB pack to your DSL Components folder, and then the bot file into the robot designs folder.
I think you can do it and get the bot in DSL, but for that you need to know exactly what you're doing. I noticed the diesector file doesn't have a "bot" file. But bascailly id be building the robot myself.

Ok, I'm a noob with computers. Some robots from the battlebots come alraedy pieced together and such and you drop their stuff into the robot designs. Is that what I do with the diesector folder to? Just put the whole folder in robot designs?

Ive been reading alot of the tournments that will be, or are going on. Most have rules saying glitches aren't allowed. What glitches are there so I can make sure I'm avoiding them?
