Ok, first on topic post.

This is a Vaygr Battlecruiser from the Homeworld games. I made this last winter break but did not post it until now.

I have it and its Hiigaran counterpart hanging from the ceiling right now, although the Hiigaran one is missing its turrets, due to them being about 5 CM high and very high poly.
[/nerd]

If this thread goes to hell I will be moving this back to the artwork thread.

Neat bot, though it looks better in polycarb IMHO. What was the other chassis you were flipping?

Hurrah for polyhedral names!

Line that thing with Typhoon spikes and make it a SHW. I made one similar a while back, and HOJ couldn't break it after 5 minutes. Spherical robots are indestructible.

Well excuse me for providing feedback in a showcase...

This isn't as much art as it is crafts, but there's no thread for that. Is anyone else into paper models? I discovered them last winter break and have made three since then. Here's one, a Vaygr battlecruiser from the Homeworld games:

EDIT: I just noticed Sparkey's thread, so I will link there instead. Not that anything has happened in there besides spamming, but maybe that will change.

Croc 2 for the ps1, most tough game in the world, still haven't beaten it. Present day games are all too easy.

I had that on PC, loved it, but yes it was too hard at the start. It actually got easier as it went along.

Might as well be a wammer, I don't think the irons are going to generate enough torque to flip the razors up as hard as snappers would.

You do like robolizards, don't you. Well, this one is looking pretty good.

lulz.

You should change the wheels though, ant wheels are the worst in the game.

Wait, is it a wammer? Weaponized wedge bot? I can see how it works but how do you classify that?

The first one, although I'd be worried about going through that cobra roll too fast.

Those videos all showed up quickly. Just wondering, where's the sound on the wildcard videos?

Coliseum and XD were fine!

Colosseum butchered the whole concept of Pokemon: going out and catching the monsters and then training them. but in Colosseum its just
10 get monster from scripted event
20 level grind for five hours until its purified
30 GOTO 10

The only other two really terrible games I've played were Sonic Secret Rings, which had the absolute worst controls I've ever seen in my life, and Metroid Prime Hunters, which had nothing to do with Metroid and was honestly pretty boring.

Meh. It's easier to win if you stay at the back. It fails. Party game. Requires no skill. Mario Kart DS or the original are the only ones i play anymore. :P
Have to disagree with you there, it does require skill. In fact, probably more than the other ones because touching a wall doesn't just knock you the other way, it slows you to a crawl.

DS is good but I can't understand why the completely changed the drifting mechanics.

I love these games, GX especially. I only really use custom machines, but if I had to choose I'd say I would go with Red Gazelle and Hyper Speeder.

Never beat any of the missions on very hard, doing mission 7 on hard took me 9+ hours and almost made me chuck my controller into the TV.

Edit button?

You could keep the steel flippers and have some wedges on the back for ant-flip purposes, see HazCon if you're unsure of what I mean.
