Yeah, extenders would be lighter.
I'm not sure if the setup could be achieved on extenders. I'm thinking the motors won't fit that close together.

I can't usually build good lightweights, especially in stock so this is very good for me.   240.9 kg I'm pretty pleased with the way this one turned out. This bot is one of the few times I've been able to stack the control board inside a battery. It's also invertible. It beats most of the Starcore lightweights. Constructive feedback appreciated.
