Thank you Clickbeetle, for all that. You must have been working 25 hours (*??) a day, to get all this done (*yes, also the hour during lunchtime counts ). I look forward to BBEANS 4: I will singn in!
PS: With all that "super genious" designs, I have stolen from Venko, I will certainly win this time! and one more time

Cars, computers, airplanes...ACAMS knows how to fix it all!

I don't know, but did you try what's the performance, when you put only razors? IMO it is possible, since the iron spikes are much longer, they get in contact first and the razors don' have much chance to do damage with this set up.

I know I have done all that too. It's only quite tricky sometimes and it needs a steady hand (will mean, serve yourself some Whisky first:grin:). Pyscolone sayed it works easier with a G5 mouse, that has a variable DPI resolution. However I don't have such, I use a cordless optical. Btw: baseplate anchors are within the easyest to stack. I have done allready 6, in differant directions and angles. They are also easy to combine with other components. I have allready stacked one in a black batterie, along with a round extender of course.

To Naryar I tried to stack the two Snappers, but I was not able to use the second attach point once thy were stacked. This made me bored, so I went back to another bot project, I started some days ago. Its not finished, because once more the stacking of the black batts causes problems. I don't know the reason, but sometimes it works easy in some seconds, but most of the time it refuses to stack, whatever I do. Sigh![8(]

I think a LW able to kill Neclected Waterbug don't actually need to be improved so badly.

Very good work Sonny. I like all of them. It's really tricky to do with the limited possibilities of RA2. It seems you are a expert in skinning.

Oh Im sorry? Because of my very small screen couldn't the see the name tag on the right side of the pic.
Castor armor works as well, even it is hidden under the front panel. But I know it eats up a lot of space. Supposing this is pop up, a ramplate attached on a eFFe-glitched extender on the burst or snapper that carries the weapon can be hidden as well. It would then pass through the bottom of the bot, wenn the pop up is fired. This could maybe even reinforce the penetration power of the pop up, when the bot is lifted up a bit. I will have to test this. I want to know, if maybe a pop up can be improved like this.

Hmm...did you say a small picture? Note to myself: Trash this oldfashioned 19" display and buy a bigger one.
Which one is yours? The Neclected Waterbug clone, or the little one at the right?

I like it. It's very compact. However, I did not get it, how you did it. I don't even know, if it is possible to stack batteries and then to stack another component inside. I would say no, but I will make some tests. If it works it is certainly tricky to use.

Later I tried to built a bot that had a bit of everything. Some sort of flipper-spinner-hammer-popup-pusher bot. I thought this would beat all, whatever kind it might be. What a waist of time! Only, when I dicovered the forum, the bots I made began to make sense.

You asked for it. Comment on PITA: Seeing the power it has on the drive section I think it is quite under equipped on the pop up (only 6 razos). You have 66 kg left I would suggest to swtch to iron spikes (+ 18 kg) and with a bit skilled extender work you might get 4 more on there ( 4 x 20 cm extender 8 kg + 40 irons 40 kg) and there are still 10 kg left.
Comment on CoV V12: There are two T-connetors attached to the snappers that carry the outside plows. I suggest to replace these with 20 cm extenders. Then if you would put the long extender to the end and straight forward you don't need the other 20 cm extender closed to the plow. If you do so, you have 23 kg left. You need now only to spare somewhere else 1kg to have two more extenders and two iron spikes on the hammers.
Oh, I saw you skinned the iron spikes. If you know how to skin the components, I would suggest to reskin the extenders. I allways wished if the attachpoints in the side would be visible, or at least the whole side would have another colour. Like that it would be easier to do the extender stuff. What do you think?

Thanks so far, now I need only to find a little time to do all that.

Thanks Naryar, I might try this and in the same time I will try to go for some more iron spikes. I think 30 spikes should be possible.

i remember my first bot
i could probably build it almost exctly the same way again. it had steel armor, the huge box chassis made with the whole grid and default height, 4 redbird drive, fatboys, one DDT with one mace on an angler on it for a weapon. about 6 black batts. That sounds like a copy of my first bot only mine had also some weights in it. For the stability, you know.

Maybe two 40 cm extenders on the side attachement point of the extenders that carry the weapon drives, facing forward down and two iron spikes on each, the way they stick out trough the plows. Question of dooing a little more damage in a closed contact.

I think I can do that. I forgot to mention in the stats there are two snapper II for the weapons, but there is also a snapper 2 in upright position, for the drives. It cannot be seen on the pic. The chassis could be probably made smaller around the batteries. The lower two trybars have only one spike on each end, because of the 7 attachment rule. Each snapper II carries two HP ztecs and a plow. The plows are placed exactly in the same place, that's why there seems to be only one. Any ideas what I could do with the spare weight?

No comments to this? I expected at least a comment from Venko, about like: "I can destroy this with my LW pop up." .

Sure we remember you. One month is not long enough, to get erased of our mind.
