Made this short animated piece late last year- Shopping Folly. It demonstrates the illusion of weight predominantly with the heavy shopping bags, but also shows off a walk cycle and the use of expression and body language. I figured I'd also adapt a small story into there as well, revolving around the character (In this case, Stick) carrying his shopping home. Well, at least he tries.

Not that good, but do let me know what you think.

Wow! All I can say is, that's definitely one of the cleverest ways I've seen you do a replica- especially with all the framework and the 'Wagglers'. More-or-less spot on!

GoldenFox: Most Likely To Stay On Topic (1), Least Likely To Stay On Topic (2), Most Bizarre (1)
Interesting mix :P
Indeed! Funny how in someone's eyes at least, I've gone from the undisputed Champion of Off-topic to being the opposite, at least. Most Bizarre, I'm intrigued by as well. Didn't think I was all that odd myself, but there you go!

Congrats to the winners! No award this time, but I'm not too disappointed- I haven't been around as much as I used to.

Beautiful. I particularly like how you've done Cassius 2 with the framework and the translucency on the Flipper. The others look really good too, especially Toon Raider and Knightmare- overall, I'm very impressed.

This one deserves a mention, too. One of the first Gameboy Colour games I had, actually!

Why, GoldenFox? Because.
Me gusta. I particularly like how you did the Axe and the decals on the top.  :P

That always gave me a heart attack because you never knew when it could happen. Sometimes you can be at 0% damage for every component and your robot broke down in 5 seconds, or you could have 66% drive and battery, and nothing bad would happen next match. Inconsistency is what made me stop playing it in the first place. Weapons snapped off at random and half the flippers you could put on your robot were inverted for some reason. This is why I prefer RA2, because things break for a reason.
Indeed. I think my record for it happening was when I was playing in a RW Championship match with Chaos 2, against Odin. Got a good start- charged in, flipped the guy over almost immediately...and then died after 4 seconds.

Yeah, the physics were awfully exaggerated but it's still better than AoD, where even Chaos 2's flipper had difficulty in doing anything. Also, there is the benefit of better graphics.
Also, it didn't do this every time you played as one of the TV replicas-

Also this game's physics are worse than RA2's which is so funny it hurts.
Case in point-

All I can say is that the Car Factory is the creepiest battle arena I've ever seen. I simply love the Sao Paulo arena, and I hope it will be made to RA2 some day. This game has lots of potential but it's basically ruined because of sh**ty physics and ridiculous judges who will never give you points by style or control.
Definitely. I personally liked the Aircraft Carrier and New York Subway Arenas myself, but the Sao Paulo and Car Factory Arenas were awesome too- hopefully we'll see some of the Arenas from that game remade some time.

Mind you, I liked the look of the Replicas they had in there as well- so it's great to see the Textures and things being reused for Wham's RW AI pack.
