He probably expected much more action than that (honestly, I kinda do too). Anyway, great match, Nary! :D

I don't have Hamachi too. :P
If GMX can't stand Grog, then it also wouldn't stand a chance against SnSnSnSnS (unless it's an open arena, I was able to kick shell spinners out from time to time >=D), too. :P 5903

@ Reier - I forgot about that. It's not really that big of a deal since it spins fast anyway. But I'll fix it when I can. :D
@ Nary - Of course. I'll send it when I finish Reier's suggestion. :D @ 123 - I initially used Team Nightmare's disc before this, but they were too small for the bot to scoot around when inverted. @ JB - I deleted all the other fails. I kept the original and GM2 since they didn't AGOD. XD 5904

Actually, it couldn't flip most of my test bots with that. It's for fun anyway. XD
And after 9 rebuilds, here's the NEW Grey Matter! :D Yes, yes, it's now a sawbot. I just couldn't get rid of the nasty AGOD that's been plaguing GMs 3-9. Anyway, tite 3, NPCFs and an odyssey batt + 5 ants with 4 Cleprechaun saws on 2 Perm 132 ELs. It rarely self-rights on its own, but I AI'ed it to be invertible to it can self-right while attacking upside-down. Though faster and wedgier, it now barely stands a chance against Dual-Perm shell due to the relatively weak HP of the saws (but it gets lucky from time to time). 5905

I've never had any luck with torque reaction bots. Though your bots look cute, none of them are really combat-effective.
Anyway, you still get points for Pan Tao's looks (it reminds me of a top hat XD). Also, pole spikes have normals, which means that they only do damage at the tips. Irons are a better alternative, but if you shrink your chassis space you can attach far better weapons. [Edit] Also, S3 wheels provide as much grip as a Vlad. Use those instead. And yep, shrink the chassis space, too. :D 5907

Anyway, work on your extenders. Learn how to snapper load and you can attach your drive to 2 20cms instead of 2 60cms. For the ramplates, just use the 45-degree anchors. Make the rear part of the chassis thinner, then use the extra weight for longer wedges. 5911

Off-Topic Discussion / School« on: October 25, 2009, 01:10:07 AM »Quote from: R0B0SH4RK;74755 I found that the further that I got into high school the better it became. There isn't a much more satisfying feeling than understanding university calculus in 12th grade (senior year for all you yanks). Actually, the subjects and lessons are awesome. Our only problem is with the teachers. Most of the important subjects were taught by lazy-ass jerks who always give out homeworks and quizzes but no discussions at all. How in the world can we learn from them? I wanted to take Computer/Mechanical Engineering for college, but our physics teacher can't even explain Ohm's Law properly. Even our math teacher can make us understand most of the physics concepts in one sitting. Our research teacher forced our research group to join the Intel ISEF competition, but couldn't even give us some simple researching tips! I'm still wondering why most of the countrymen consider this as one of the best schools in the Philippines. 5919

The one from 3:44 is made by Omegaforce, which defeated Foolishevil's bot to win some tournament.
And I have no idea who made Generator. 5920

Probably works since you used a big-ass chassis. I usually leave a 1/6 box of open space so I can stack blacks easier. But what really bugs me is that I can stack 3 blacks but I can't stack 2 anchors into a nifty! /wrist
