Rule of cool, matey. Got to come to town looking awesome somehow
You should arrive on fire. Is terminal wally a Young Ones reference, by any chance?
Indeed- right on about blowing up that Panda in Croydon. Bloody Zoos., who needs 'em?

I'm thinking Metroid: Other M may have put Metroid on hold for a bit.
Indeed- whilst it was OK and innovative with the two different perspectives, it didn't quite feel like a Metroid game to me. I don't know why, but it just didn't.

Metroid Fusion and Metroid Zero Mission weren't that long ago...
Good point, actually- still have my old copies of Zero Mission and Super Metroid, actually. But even still, a general return to sidescrolling with a modern spruce up will be great to see once Metroid Dread does get off the ground. Don't know if it will, but it'd be great to see. And provided the Plasma and Ice Beams in it, I'm all ears.

I hate sony, but the vita looks awesome, looks like it'll be the first console in years to actually focus on games and gaming mainly.
Yup.
One move that will practically make me love Nintendo is if they got off their ass and actually made Metroid Dread, because the idea of a 2D Metroid adventure is great.
Quoted for truth- it'd be great to see a modernised spin on the Super Metroid formula.

Starbucks? STARBUCKS!? Clearly you haven't tasted real coffee. When you come up here, I'll make you a caramel frappucino a heckuva lot better than the dishwater Starbucks sell at their extortionate prices. (Before you ask - yes, I own a professional coffee machine)
Only selected that in particular because that's where I first tried them. But judging by the sound of your proposition, I'd be enjoying one of those in a heartbeat :3

dude. Before Vlad and Bio, most robots were RC cars with cut off saws glued on top.
I was referring to as time went on- they were definitely great and influential designs for their time, but later on, they suffered a little from what I call "The Chaos 2 Problem"- as time went by, competitors advanced, whilst they kept their original designs. This in turn lead to them being outdated in some respects, with new competitors finding ways to take on robots of the classic designs as part of their initial creation.

Too bad we can't see any of these battles! :P
Indeed- I'd pay good money to see a fight between Mortis and Vlad the Impaler :3

Just hope Chaos 2 doesn't run out of C02 first :P Also, I wonder what it could do to Cassius II...
/trollface
Or that Biohazard doesn't get flipped over with those skirts on And Cassius II? It could indeed beat it, seeing as it can self-right well, and has been proven to be quite resilient, taking direct hits from Shunt, Matilda and Pussycat, and still running. Just a matter of whether it can get under Biohazard whilst its arm is up and Cassius II is running low to the ground.
