Vortex CE, hard? He has nearly no defenses ! Try Little Darling instead... not true. depends on what you go against him with. best hammer killer i have ever faced.
Looks good Tlee, although:
-i love hybrids, but IMO 2 different weapon systems are better than 3. HS/rammers are particularly good.
-Try rebuilding it (yes a square chassis is better) and stick a black batt on this, as well as slipperbottoms.
-remember, golden rule of RA2: lighter bots. i hope you mean lighter chassis...
-I don't really know if these high-placed HS weapons are very useful. ...

did for me when i made the BBEANS promo video.
all you do it right click a link, then select "save link as" form the menu that pops up, then save it to your desktop. it will take a little bit to download, but not too long.

Do not download Starcore 3. I don't think you are ready yet. I think that Starcore 1 is better for you. Get good at it and then get three. (although when I got it I had no problem with it with my existing sucky bots...hmm) i SUCKED when i got SCv3. it improved my building skills tenfold.

What?! A piece of metal does not have flamable jet fuel, and does not have the speed and mass of a full sized plane. It looked photoshopped because it was very intact, but I could easily be wrong. yes, but what causes the flammable jet fuel to explode?

alright! now were getting somewhere. remember only use granny wheels if you absolutely have to. they dont give better grip (or if they do, not much). shinies are the best, so switch to those. also, 4wd RAD (those black motors are called rads in RA2 lingo) is a bad idea. go with zteks for speed. as for wedges, if wedges are on motors they do much better. and go for low ground clearance. (this means keep the wheels close the the bottom of the chassis, as if the chassis is scraping along the ground)

thnx for the constructive criticism.. I'm uploading a new bot as soon as my sh**ty as comp is done converting them to jpegs. much easier to open in something like paint and just save them as .jpgs. then you can crop out the rest of the botlab, which we dont need to see.

ok.
1. look at my showcase if you want impressive (not trying to brag, but people do seem to think my bots are pretty good)
2. there's no in-between with realism. either its realistic or it's not.
3. get a harder AI pack, like starcore 3.
4. i find that wheel protection is a last minute thing. if you have the weight, use it. Otherwise, use the weight on more important things like weapons.

I bet they don't drive straight in the garage test...
And Sage should have reduced their 'turnspeed' value. i tried. i spent a good hour trying to fix the little guys. when they were finally able to drive better, they were dreadfully slow and almost useless. The way they are now was their most effective.

Wait, how do you get the max sphere to show up? hit f12 in game. you have to be in the components tab though. and turn it off before you test in the garage. takes like 5 times as long for it to load back up for some reason.
