But it surely would hurt if you were to be hit by a metallic bar spinning at +30mph. :P

What if you swap the heights of both weapon systems? It might help.

Though you based it on Ounce's ReFraction, it reminded me more of Vise. :P

@ 123: He probably did that due to the annoying rule of 7. :D

Also, hooray for another anti-shell! <3

I hope it can self-right this time. :P

And hooray for small wedges on flipper segments! :D

[Edit]Oh, and I would LOVE to see a match of that against Paper Cut 4! XD

90% might be a bit too high. Maybe 80% since I suck at DSL snapper wedges. :P

And yesh, BountyHunter.py works nicely on this bot. And now I need to build bots that can send this OOTA since it gets under Second Sentinel 95% of the time. :P

Nope. It's DSL LW.

Hmmm... I'm not sure if I have enough time to build bots for this. Don't put my name down yet, but I'll try to submit the bots in time. :D

2 tries and VI still won't go OOTA. But yeah, that was a very awesome match, Urjee. :D

Team input:

LW: Use multi-extenders instead of anchors. I know they're kinda tough to work with, but they're worth your patience and you can attach stronger/longer sheets to it. And instead of using two extenders for the motor, just raise the ME and attach a flipper maker to it (more HP/kg) and attach your motor there. Same reach for less weight and more HP. If you still have some extra weight, use Vlads or upgrade the armor.

MW: Again, use MEs. and I think you can attach the motors directly to the MEs while still obeying the realistic rule. And be more conservative with the skirts and extenders. Attach skirts on metal hinges for wedges or add side trappers just like your LW.

HW: I don't really like E-Teks since they're bulky and weak, so try to use Perm 132s if you can. Also, you're gonna need frontal armor for fights against shell. And use metal hinges instead of skirts since there are a whole lot of wedgy HWs in NAR AI.

AW: Try to make the chassis the lowest level (if you can't put a NPC left/right, you got it) and try to fiddle around with the extra weight.

BW: Kinda too slow for my liking, and Y connectors are obsolete. And bear claws look cool, but they have normals. You might only attach in the forward direction, but you need some active defense against shell.

Though it has great wedges, I'm still kinda worried about the lack of weapons. Try it against Grog and Circle of Thorns III. :D

Rebuilt the whole thing, here's it's rebuild:

Downgraded armor to 5mm plastic, but now has 8 ants, 4 medium BBs, 2 large BBs, 2 razors, 8 light DS teeth, and 2 static spike strips. Better wedges, but I still ran into the same problem as before. It needs to have its drive wired to go in reverse for its srimech. But whenever it lands on the ground, the bot still goes in reverse and even gets counted out when it's pushing itself against the wall. Any suggestions on how to solve this? D:

True dat.

Even in here, swine flu deaths aren't a surprise, considering the fact that the most advanced part of the country is also the dirtiest. Even the government suspended our classes for 2 weeks. Which led to rushed lessons. Which led to more rushed homework. Which led to increased stress. Which led to bad grades. >:E

I personally don't like skinny bots since they're quite easy to flank, but E-wedges = bad. Also, I think its narrowness also contributes to its self-righting problem. Make it wider and stuff your batts between the motors so you'll have a wider and shorter bot that can self-right easier. :D

WB predictions:

Urjee over S.T.C. - Unless the flippers get ripped off, this should be a quick match.

Nary over me - BB has a great wedge (according to my clone). PC3 also has a nasty tendency to flank single-wedged bots, but I doubt it could pull it off in time.

You can check the .txt files for the line Normal. I dont know any other way for that.

Well, you can always edit the .txt files to add the normals into the descriptions. :D

Don't make a random chassis.

*ahemN00botahem*

Instead of using 2 Snapper IIs, use one instead and mount your plow in there, too. But yeah, be more conservative in chassis points so you could have more free weight. And free weight usually means more weapons, or more protection, or better wedges.

Hehehe. Did that as well with Monochrome 2. But I still don't get why it hit the piston instead of the chassis (and there were no Havoks during the match). :O

Seppuku gone bigger. :O

Anyway, if you wire the drive to your srimech, I think it could self-right once in a while. :D
