change the tip to something really big so it sticks out of the smartzone. do this by changing "dslpointy_tip.txt" to another .txt file.

"Stacking batteries and other components. Some components can be overlapped in the same spot if you position them just right. Baseplate anchors are very easily stacked, and so are small battery packs. Supervolt batteries can be overlapped too, although they are a little more difficult. And if you're really skilled, you can overlap a battery or a baseplate anchor on your control board. Many other stacking combinations are possible, but they are not as useful and I won't bother mentioning them. Stacking components can save a lot of space, and thus weight, in your bot, especially if it uses multiple Supervolt batteries.
To stack 2 components, place the first one where you want it to be on the baseplate, then hover the other component over the first one until it lets you place it. Usually, they must be perfectly aligned in one dimension and slightly offset in another. It is easier if you get the camera pointing straight down at your baseplate, go to the Overview tab, zoom in all the way, and then go back to the Components tab. This lets you get a higher zoom on your bot as long as you click the "attach" button before moving the mouse onto your bot." noob 5809

that tree looks like it took a LOT of work. just looking at it, I can see that there are probably 10 different components that were made invisible, which is not exactly easy. to get the smartzones to work as a gatling (as well as spin with the tree) is genius. the cannons are modded to shoot maces, as well as shoot different colors. then the cannons were made invisible, and placed perfectly. as for the snowbot, the thing i liked most was how it steered. the pistons inside are genius. how it throws snowballs is cool. I'm guessing some inviso modded cannons on a burst motor. in the end it is just a rolling snowball though. with a hat. the bot reminds me of that one huge wheel that hurts bots. the little ho ho ho tree is alright, doesnt look like the little hammer can hurt much. and Rudolph is out of his league. 5810

I guess I can post pics if that isn't a problem with anyone. Just Tempus Fugit and Jubjub Bird. As a little teaser. the plow doesnt self right. it shouldnt. 5813

I've had it for a while. theres even a team i redid completely in there, along with some other remakes. if anyone remembers luigica, he also did plenty of remakes for scv4. the new tempus fugit is the most insane LW ever. Fury is also just as insane. Maelstrom has like 4 plows, castor armor, and a lot of spikes everywhere. theres a new SnS starcore made named spin doctor, and plenty of others as well. Oh, and all the bots have DSA (unless they need plastic for weight) 5814

have you guys been asleep? starcores been gone for a long time. until he comes back (i dont know when) it won't be finished.
as for what bots were updated, theres a buttload, and i wont get into that right now. if someone else wants to tell you, thats fine. one major change was all bots now have dsa unless they had plastic before. |
