Squirrels singing... I had nightmares after watching part of one of the movies. I even thought there was only 1 movie!
Honestly, it looks like a movie for children so my reaction is obvious. If you are in that age's range, it's no problem to me. Either way, no need to explode because people don't agree with you. I would say this is the toughest forum I've ever been a part of and people here are unforgiving in terms of criticism. If you want to stay around you'll have to deal with this a lot. You can always post less too 584

Thanks a lot guys
![]() I made something a little similar but more complex. I made a short video to show more clearly how this bot behaves. Like Energy Core 2, it also has 4 switches for the same 4 movements but it's slower and can easily lose from immobilization. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fhIQ1iO8OA&feature=youtu.be#ws Note: the video might be still processing so please be patient 585

Thank you for comments as always. As for the marriage proposals, thank you but no thank you
![]() Here's my first DSL3 bot, though it doesn't have any new components. I planned in making a video with it but the opponents in DSL3 were just too dumb so it wouldn't be interesting. That also means I could not verify it's true effectiveness. the E-tek motor inside spins 12 flamethrowers. It has 4 switches for 4 different movements: Rotate clockwise Rotate counter-clockwise Roll forward Roll backwards 586

I've been using a Firefox add-on called flashblock for several years now.
It works so well that I never realized I had ads like those, until recently disabling the flashblock to run a browser game. It disables all flash in a page. To enable you just need to click on the screen 588

I have to agree with Naryar. My favorite, though is #2. It's those triangle shaped panels sticking out that catch my eye.

I'm curious to see a Level 5 Flamethrower. I just realized that I never saw one. Looking forward to see one of you guys with it.

The way the game finds an opponent puzzles me. It seems random. There's no rank hierarchy. I had many guest players against Passive beast. If I was their first battle they would most likely give up straight away, lol.
I don't complain much but newcomers certainly will. 592

I see you already spent some of the gold bars (or whatever that is). Don't do it or you'll regret it later on. Many level 5 upgrades can only be bought with gold bars and not cash.
If one day i have to fight you i will run away and suicide myselfStand and fight like a man, you wimp! Some smart level 5 rocket guys can kill me easily but I have yet to see a flamethrower taking me down ![]() Napalm is good. Each missile deals good damage but I don't trust it much because there's always the possibility to miss. 593

You guys really like flamethrowers... I'm better with my now Level 5 Sonic Boom! Firing 3 sound blasts!
Level 5 turret, front and defense weapons. Only the rear weapon is level 4 ![]() 594
Existing Games / Re: Robot Rage« on: March 25, 2013, 12:12:33 PM »![]() I think I fought you again a couple of hours ago. Same weapon, same chassis, opponent called Alex... But it had a LVL 4 cutter while you said you used airstrike so I'm not sure. Guests are cool to play with. If they get an HP bonus then more fun to me, lol. If I'm against a good player (rocket guys are the most common) and there are nice easy spots to drop them at the start, then I don't care if I get hit. Otherwise I'll try to dodge their first salvos by going head to head then making a quick turn. Many fall for it and spend everything, just hitting me once or twice. What irritates me is that some opponents can never be grappled. I'm guessing laggy players but lag isn't evident with some of them. They seem immune to the claw. 595

I made a short video of the capabilities of Passive Beast
I think one the battles in there was against you, GoldenFox and by pure luck I filmed it for my video ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdpvqA5ANwY&feature=youtu.be#ws 596

After that, you just install the Unity web player which takes maybe second or two. If you have a flashblocker as addon, disable it And if the unity web button does not appear then: http://unity3d.com/webplayer/ 597

Nice combo, though I'm not a big fan of the flamethrower myself. I had it level 4 too with Bite chassis. It wasn't that interesting
![]() You should pay those 45239 credits for more traction. Opponents will have a harder time pushing you. It will make you less vulnerable to Sonic Boom 598

Duuuuude.... I made a monster! I call It "Passive Beast"
Level 4 Sonic Boom Level 5 Claw Level 1 Fender Bombs Level 3 Defensive saw It's kind of tricky to use it but once you get the hang of it its hilarious. I have two choices: I grab the guy and just drop it or I grab the guy, point him to the nothingness and then Sonic Boom! Thanks to me their bots learn to fly. For weaker guys I torture them and hold them over fire or electric fences XD 599

Nice bot! I just unlocked the Wrecker and I agree with everything you said now. I'll try to make a cool combo with it. Upgrade traction, get sonic boom and claw. Then see how it goes. It should be interesting
As for the rocket guys, I'm one of them, lol. But I only run away if I'm really short on life. I have decent close combat weapons so I don't need to run. 600
Existing Games / Re: Robot Rage« on: March 24, 2013, 09:59:52 AM »
You're right that the previous Robot rage had more bugs than gameplay but still had something that I really liked in it.
Bite is definitely a winner in armor. It can take a serious beating. Its Ram weapon at Level 4 destroys an unupgraded Crash chassis with 4 hits without interference of other weapons! I didn't test the Wrecker yet, though. The only great problem with Bite is that it tilts slightly when moving forward and if carrying rockets, they will all miss their target. To make a hit the bot needs to be still. All the guest players are great cannon fodder, lol. Easy cash. |
